I won "The Dressmakers Secret" in December, and it shows they have not yet been sent. When can we expect to receive our book? I am already getting emails asking me how I liked the book! Would love to receive it so that I may read it!

Hi....I thoroughly enjoyed " The Forgotten Wife" and "The Forbidden Promise" as I have bought those plus your newest "The Girl from the Island" which is to be read... Just wondering if you have any insight into whether or not the Forgotten one might also be published in the regular 7.5 x 5 inch dimension as well?....I ordered the wife one to have my own copy , but it was the larger dimensions unfortunately (9x6)

Lorna Cook Cindy, I'm so sorry for the late reply. I've only just seen this. It seems I don't get alerts about questions! Thanks so much for purchasing all my novels. How wonderful. If you are in Canada, my first novel The Forgotten Village was re-titled The Forgotten Wife and it's in a larger size. But if you wanted all of my books published so far in England to be the same size, The Forgotten Village in paperback would match the others. And, in fact, it has a slightly different front cover colour-wise. I've just checked and The Book Depository (free worldwide shipping on all purchases) has a new copy in stock, so they say. Can I suggest that the book cover be changed - photos of the village would be more appealing. It is a terrific read - I just finished it, reading through the night?

Lorna, when did you realize yourself as a writer? After writing first book, publishing , success or …? You know this feeling inside «I am truly a writer»

Lorna Cook Hi Mariia, thanks for getting in touch. I think that feeling sprung up on me when I'd finished the first draft of The Forgotten Village. I'd got to the end of the manuscript and thought, 'I can do this.' (Lots of editing and feedback from professionals came after that - helping to make the book so much better.) But it was when I'd finished that first draft that I felt like a writer. Until I'd finished it, I was just 'having a go.' Hope that makes sense! Lorna xx
