Lorna Cook Hi Mariia, thanks for getting in touch. I think that feeling sprung up on me when I'd finished the first draft of The Forgotten Village. I'd got to the end of the manuscript and thought, 'I can do this.' (Lots of editing and feedback from professionals came after that - helping to make the book so much better.) But it was when I'd finished that first draft that I felt like a writer. Until I'd finished it, I was just 'having a go.' Hope that makes sense! Lorna xx

Hi....I thoroughly enjoyed " The Forgotten Wife" and "The Forbidden Promise" as I have bought those plus your newest "The Girl from the Island" which is to be read... Just wondering if you have any insight into whether or not the Forgotten one might also be published in the regular 7.5 x 5 inch dimension as well?....I ordered the wife one to have my own copy , but it was the larger dimensions unfortunately (9x6)
