Abhishek Ghosh I don't want to. As the fictional world is an escape from the real world. In every fictional world which I have read till now, has problems and massacre. I want to see a world, where there is no conflict.
Abhishek Ghosh An idea was there.
Suddenly, it disappeared.
Abhishek Ghosh Photography, reading a book, watching my favorite movie sequences be it a dramatic moment or an action scene. Anything, regarding storytelling technique article or vlog.
Abhishek Ghosh About expressing oneself ownself in various character formation. Building characters, making them have conflict against each other.
Abhishek Ghosh I am struggling to sell my books. Even though, I am learning a lot of things about writing structure. I have read the Hero with a Thousand Faces by Joseph Campbell, Syd Field's Screenplay, Satyajit Ray's stories, and many other inspirations.
Abhishek Ghosh I am trying to work on a corporate espionage thriller in a neo-noir style by focusing more on shady corporate dealings, inspired by various corporate scams and as well as character drama of the lead character.
Abhishek Ghosh I look at the surroundings of mine, then try to think about how to tell the story and in which genre it can be put. For example, The Paradise Conflict, speaks about the scarcity of water resources and environmental degradation. I took the step further by putting it in the future and extremes of the scarcity of water which are put under control by the Totalitarian Regime. I try to mix things up to tell a story to share a message.
Abhishek Ghosh For me to write, The Paradise Conflict, I have taken quite a few inspiration from real-world issues and storytelling techniques. From the real world, I have taken the inspiration of the water crisis and environmental exploitation at its core all around the globe by setting the political background of a Totalitarian regime with inspiration from George Orwell’s Nineteen Eighty-Four. The main motive of the rebels in the book is to restore Mother Nature back to its roots with a balance of belongingness.

There are inspirations like:

· 2019 Amazon Rain Forest – As in the book, I have mentioned vaguely as the Great Fire

· Smog and Air Pollution problems all around the major metropolitan cities – In the book, I have mentioned it as the Great Smoke like the Delhi Pollution

· Water management issues in the developing countries – In the book, I have pushed the events further, if there is an extreme case of availability of water and put under control by a Totalitarian Regime, similar to that of Big Brother from George Orwell’s Nineteen Eighty Four
