Thanks, Diane! That's lovely to hear. Say hello to my fellow Londoner from me.

Hello! Yes, I've already uploaded the next book in the series, The Snows of Weston Moor, and it should be available by mid-November. There is also an audiobook coming in my new series, The Marius Quin Mysteries, on 3rd November. Those audiobooks will come out at the same time as the books. I hope you enjoy them!

Hi Charlie!
Thanks very much. George is absolutely brilliant. I went to the studio to see him record the last book and it is insane how naturally he can read the books in the booth. I tried to record the first one myself and wanted to jump out of the window after a few weeks of trying. That is why I tried to find the most professional and brilliant person to do it and that is how I found George.
He is also an incredibly nice guy and we've become good friends. No idea if it will happen, but I'm trying to get him for my new series which will be coming in November.
Sorry it took so long for me to reply. I did not get a notification for some reason.

Hello, Rose!
I'm sorry I didn't see your question before. There are three novels already released in the "Lord Edgington Investigates..." series. I'm working on the fourth now "The Mystery of Mistletoe Hall" and it should be out mid-November. There's also a free novella you can download at my website benedictbrown.net It's called "Death from High Places" I plan to release a few more novels next year and hope you enjoy all my books!
Best wishes,
Benedict

Hi Janet!
I'm sorry I didn't notice your question before. Thanks for the lovely feedback. I think the only reason the books to be for teens is because of the narrator. Some people can't see past the idea of having a teenager as a main character but the books are written primarily for adults.
I'm half way through the fourth Lord Edgington novel and it should be out in November. I hope you really enjoy it!
Best wishes,
Benedict

I'm so sorry, Tora. I thought I'd replied to you on my phone but I guess it didn't upload properly.
The second book is out in two weeks and I'm about a quarter of the way through the third. I have a plan for at least two more after that. But obviously sales are a factor in deciding how long to stick with a series.
There are certain ongoing plot elements beyond the mysteries which will need several novels to resolve. I really love Izzy and her friends and hope she'll stick around for a long time. I hope you'll stick with her too!

Hi Tora,
The truth is, I don't really choose who reads my book. I advertise "A Corpse Called Bob" through different platforms and, I guess due to the fact that older people read more, it tends to be people 30 and up who buy it.
It's my first adult novel and I wrote about ten kids books before this one - which I'm about to start releasing - so maybe I have a tendency to write stories that could appeal to multiple age groups.
And, don't worry, it doesn't get any nastier. I think the first page is the nastiest by most people's standards. Thanks very much for reading, I hope you love every page!
