Being married to a veteran has its perks! I also interview for my books, and if I'm starting a new series I do a lot of ground work (from my laptop usually, but sometimes in person) to make sure the information I'm putting out is correct. New situations often come up, and that requires tweaking but every time we meet new people I often pick their brains and give full disclosure first.

Start writing. learn too, but write every day. even if it's a few hundred words, you're forming a habit and letting the creative juices flow. Watch out, 'cause once those floodgates open, they're nigh impossible to close!

The end of Summer is quickly approaching! I've been blessed to ARC read for a few amazing debut authors and there's some incredible books coming your way! Right now, I'm reading Eve L Mitchell's Lost in Darkness for the SECOND time, and the first book in K H Kate's brand new Martinez Mafia Dynasty, Thorned. Also looking forward to the next few books in Lila Grey's new books in The Devil's Highwaymen series. Striker and Maverick were brilliant and there's two new books out in this series soon!
