I'd like to say Rhett & Scarlett, because I love so much about their passion. But I only recommend romance with happy endings, so they unfortunately can't be counted. I really love Butch & Marissa in J.R. Ward's LOVER REVEALED. I mean - he falls for a vampire. Against all logic. THAT is love. Similarly, Ethan and Merit in Chloe Neill's Chicagoland Vampire series get my vote because she has every reason not to be with him (it is essentially a work romance, and he is her boss, not to mention a few hundred years older than her), but chemistry can't be denied. I adore a love that is so strong it overcomes reason.

Treat writing like it is already a career. Your 1st book is often a leisurely affair that may have taken years to write. Your next contracted book will most likely be due a mere 4-5 months later. Plus you'll have promo to do when it releases. So set up a schedule NOW. Give yourself firm deadlines and stick with them.

I was a at a wine night at a fancy steak restaurant - we got to try 25 different wines. So, um, things got silly. And my friend claimed he wanted to start an all male blog. Which he'd never actually do. I immediately saw the awesomeness of the idea and turned it into my Naked Men series - 5 friends whose lives were indelibly changed by surviving a high school tragedy who now write a blog. I've got a Coast Guard rescue pilot, an NTSB agent, a billionaire inventor, a disaster recovery specialist, and a food truck chef.

I loathe exercising. I do it so that I can fit into my pants, but I hate it. However, when I'm on the elliptical, because there is nothing else to concentrate on, that's when I solve all my plotting problems. I get the same effect when I go to the symphony (albeit dressed up and sweat-free!)
