Who is your favorite romantic couple? Can be fictional or IRL :) What makes them so special?

Christi Barth I'd like to say Rhett & Scarlett, because I love so much about their passion. But I only recommend romance with happy endings, so they unfortunately can't be counted. I really love Butch & Marissa in J.R. Ward's LOVER REVEALED. I mean - he falls for a vampire. Against all logic. THAT is love. Similarly, Ethan and Merit in Chloe Neill's Chicagoland Vampire series get my vote because she has every reason not to be with him (it is essentially a work romance, and he is her boss, not to mention a few hundred years older than her), but chemistry can't be denied. I adore a love that is so strong it overcomes reason.
