I was not always patient with Alvin. For several months, I was extremely frustrated. There was a moment that I felt challenged by former political opponent who I thought was being harsh to Alvin. So, maybe not courage as much as spite!

Hello! Because I am McCracken, King Poston, Jr., I have to take you back to 1923 to a modest house in Middle Tennessee, when my father was born. My grandmother, who named her other three sons John, Doug, and Cal, looked at the tiny baby and worried he may not live. When the doctor came by, he also prepared her that her tiny infant would probably not make it through the night. She unloaded a bunch of family last names on the poor kid, to honor those families, thinking they would be soon on a tombstone. I just read and very much enjoyed "Bone Deep." I wish that I had "Untypical" twenty-five years ago, which could have helped me understand my client in my book.

(view spoiler)["Zenith Man: Death, Love, and Redemption in a Georgia Courtroom," was a mystery in my life, in the form of a very unusual murder case. I was at the nadir of my own life, with losses in my personal, physical, and professional life.
Alvin Ridley was considered a town weirdo. His constant stare, conspiratorial suspicions, and litigious nature made him few friends. When he reported the dead woman in his house to be his wife, nobody in the town where everyone knew everything about everyone knew he had a wife.
When he began to stalk me to get my help, yet fight me at every turn, it was the challenge that I needed. But I was never fully in charge of our defense strategy, having to yield to my client's demands, and even an appearance by Jesus to give his opinion as to whether my client should testify.
