Great question and honestly I would love to travel to most of the worlds that I read about; being able to explore any other world be it fantasy, dystopian, or on a different world would be amazing, but I would also want to become a person who belongs in that world.
For example, I love The Iron Seas Series by Meljean Brook... I would want to be a steampunk pirate and fight sea monsters and zombie. If I stepped into Middle Earth I would totally want to be an elf and slay some orks. A simple tourist visit wouldn't be enough for me; if someone gave me the opportunity to travel into a fictional world I would want some form of kick ass powers to come with the trip so I could fully immerse myself into that universe and its residents.

My list consists of books that I have been meaning to read for the last year, if not a little longer; 3 books by Sheri Fredricks (Remedy Maker, Troll-y Yours, and Portals of Oz), Gods of the Deep by D.A. Lascelles, just to name a few of them. I don't get a lot of time to read, which I need to fix asap as my TBR pile is massive.

My favourite fictional couple of all time are Jane Eyre and Mister Rochester. Jane is a wonderful woman who is passionate in her own right; knows her own heart and sticks to her beliefs. She is a down to earth character with a good heart.
Mister Rochester is tortured; he has lived and been hurt, and I love the fact he is moody, but the way he interacts with Jane, he isn't always delicate; he teases her, but when he finally admits his feelings.... he is equally as passionate and tender.
Even though you have the issue of class, and there is the edge of suspense due to the mystery around Grace Poole and who is in the attic... They are two people with very real problems for their time and I just think their romance and the story around their romance is beautiful.

Writers block isn't easy, especially when you want to write or you have a deadline looming, but find you can't quite get your head in the right place.
The best way to deal with writer's block is to sit down and try and write. Sounds crazy, but you could take a week out and give yourself time, but then you find a week becomes two, and then maybe three, and before you know you are procrastinating and getting so stressed over it.
So, whether you are at your computer or have a pad and pen, just try and scribble a couple of hundred words a day. It's not a lot, but it's a start and eventually you will be able to write your way out of that block.
That is my approach to dealing with it. It's tricky and frustrating, but some times life gets in the way, and your mind just refuses to work with you.

Most of my story ideas come from dreams; I have a lot of strange dreams.
Usually when I have an idea I will make notes and leave them to one side and just let the idea grow and form. Once I have the itch to start writing, once it has fully grabbed my attention, I just sit down and start.
I'm more or a panster then a planner, so I do both as I go. ;-P

Always believe in yourself and your work. You can be anything you want to be. Do anything you want to do, and achieve anything if you put your mind to it. Keep writing. Keep submitting. And just believe in yourself.

The idea for Stepping Stones - my sweet contemporary romance - actually came in a dream. In the dream I was Maggie, or rather in her shoes, the taxi I was in pulled up outside this beautiful church on the edge of a cliff. As soon as I got out of the taxi the bride comes running up to me; her maid of honour couldn’t make it so I needed to take her place. As you can imagine I wasn't very happy about being her second choice or a last minute one, but I agreed.
The scene then jumps to me dressed in a bridesmaid dress walking down the aisle, and then I nearly go face first because my ex was the Vicar. Awkward. I am uncomfortable through the ceremony and as soon as it is over I try to get away from him only to bump into another man, but I'm angry at this one, hurt by him, confused. So I storm off. End of dream.
Well, there was a story there so I left the idea to stew in the back of my mind, I actually think it was stewing for two years in total, and then when I had the itch to write it, I did and Stepping Stones was born.
