Who is your favorite fictional couple, and why?

Elizabeth Morgan My favourite fictional couple of all time are Jane Eyre and Mister Rochester. Jane is a wonderful woman who is passionate in her own right; knows her own heart and sticks to her beliefs. She is a down to earth character with a good heart.

Mister Rochester is tortured; he has lived and been hurt, and I love the fact he is moody, but the way he interacts with Jane, he isn't always delicate; he teases her, but when he finally admits his feelings.... he is equally as passionate and tender.

Even though you have the issue of class, and there is the edge of suspense due to the mystery around Grace Poole and who is in the attic... They are two people with very real problems for their time and I just think their romance and the story around their romance is beautiful.
