Great question, and you don't see many books with virgin heroes, do you. In THE CHALLENGE which is a five-novel reverse harem series one of the Scottish twins is a virgin.
In HIGH-STICKED, which is an MM hockey romance, one of the heroes is a virgin when it comes to sleeping with another guy.
In BREATHE YOU IN, the hero and heroine have both been through trauma (sickness and grief) and for them making love for the first time feels like making love for the first time.
You've got me thinking, perhaps I should right one with that a main theme of the story. Thank you, Wendy :)

Elizabeth Bennet and Mr Darcy in Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austin. Adversaries at first during balls, parties and social gatherings, the hero and heroine soon develop respect for one another that blossoms into romance and then love. A beautifully portraial of two souls connecting that's stood the test of time.

I'm currently working on a BDSM erotic romance set in New York about a business man and his glamorous financial consultant. He's a guy who knows what he wants, but so does she, and when they come together, sparks fly. I'm particularly enjoying his character, he's sullen, deep and definitely an expert at everything he tries his hand at.

My plots start off as seeds. It could be a song, or a memory or even an advert in the paper that creates them. Then I give them time to germinate and nurture them as they grow in my imagination. In my mind I play scenes like a movie as I walk the dog and when I have enough plot gathered and I feel I'm getting to know my characters I start to write.

My most recently released story is Burning Rubber - a novella in the Wild Angels Anthology. It's about bikers and I started off remembering the thrill of being on the back of a motorbike many years ago. That adrenaline-inducing moment of acceleration and the way I had to cling to the leather-clad guy driving the monster. I shouldn't have been on the bike and I shouldn't have been with him - but I was! All those feelings and memories mixed together to create Gid and Sandra, my hero and heroine in Burning Rubber.
