I'm working on a couple of projects right now. I am having End of the Line 2 edited before I go through and submit it to an editor. I am about to release the third short story in the Mistakes series. I am also working on Beneath the Scars 2 in addition to a few other things, but those are the biggies.

For me it is getting to be creative. To be able to create these characters that come to life and develop into something that someone can read. The other big thing is getting to meet and talk to really great people (authors, bloggers, and readers) that I might not have met otherwise.

I try to plow through it, but if I can't I try to work on something else to get the creative juices flowing in way or another. Sometimes I do need to take a step back and come back with a clear mind. I bounce ideas with friends.

Do your research. I don't want you to dive into a company or get an editor that you are unfamiliar with. I've never had a problem with Indie Authors, so don't be afraid to ask one a question, we're all learning together. There is no such thing as too much editing, don't be afraid to ask someone else to go through it because they might find a plot hole you wouldn't have thought of. Tough skin, you will not get all 5 star reviews. Take the comments and grow in a way that helps your writing, taking their comments and learn. Or if you get bad comments don't comment back, don't write a blog post about trolls, or anything because the internet is like a tattoo you might think it's gone, but you can still see it. If you are found to be nasty or whatever that could case away future readers.

It is kind of a build up, if I don't write I get a little edgy. Writing is something that I enjoy and relaxes me. So anytime I just need to have a little time to relax and have fun I like to write. Listening to certain music helps (depending on what I'm working on depends on the genre of music). Sometimes I like to put movies on while I am working. However, I will not read books that are similar to works that I am working on because I do not want to be influenced too much by another author that my work kind of bleeds into theirs.

I'm working on a couple of books right now. Project US is based off a dream I had back in Freshman year of High School. I wish I could remember where I got the pirate story. The last big project that I'm working on is a sequel for Beneath the Scars and it's based on the flashbacks that Riley had.
