With this said, I'd especially love to meet Felly and Kieran, the sleuthing couple of 'Murder On The Rocks!'. They're just cute, zany and clever. And I'd meet them in Youghal, Ireland of course. ;)

'Cursed Spite' - by Doug G. Noakes - currently reading. Noakes' charming gumshoe style I compare to a modern Dashiell Hammett's. CS is totally engaging, set in the faux Shakespearean festival world of Ashland, Oregon where a series of real 'whodunits' occur. But can Harvey Wells solve the mysterious death of an old friend and colleague, a death everyone's claiming a suicide? Read on, even travel through time...and see.

This first novel was several years in the writing. In the 1970s my youth embodied an interrupted education & budding artistic career while I lived from flophouse to flophouse caught up in the heyday of Boulder, Colorado, a mountain university town & Haight Ashbury-like haven for youth & others temporarily escaping the mainstream.
Though fiction, the work is loosely drawn from personal experiences.
