Yet, before I made such a drastic decision I taught internationally as a Colorado University exchange professor at Russia's Moscow State University. I was afterwards asked to join an international program at the Agricultural University in Beijing, Ch

With this said, I'd especially love to meet Felly and Kieran, the sleuthing couple of 'Murder On The Rocks!'. They're just cute, zany and clever. And I'd meet them in Youghal, Ireland of course. ;)(less)

Content creation & syndication: worth the price?

This morning I woke up thinking about syndication. Why? Who knows. 😉 😛
While living in my youth as a runaway with a gypsy family in a dilapidated old California mansion I was exposed to a few highly creative individuals, one close to the creator of the then underground newspaper, which I'm not sure but think was developed in San Francisco? Anyway, this was then the 'hippy news' - LOL. And it conta Read more of this blog post »

“My definition of an intellectual is someone who can listen to the William Tell Overture without thinking of the Lone Ranger" - Billy Connolly”
Sherry Marie Gallagher, Boulder Blues: A Tale of the Colorado Counterculture

“Without the withering song,
the reduce of the rabbit and glide of the hawk,
the people will never wake up and realise
that they're no longer free'
- Shers Gallagher 2024”

“The first step toward finding God--who is truth--is to discover the truth about myself; and if I have been in error, this first step to truth is the discovery of my error”
Thomas Merton, The Intimate Merton: His Life from His Journals

“We Japanese, on the other hand, know our egos are nothing. We bend our egos, all of the time, and that is where we differ. That is the fundamental difference, Hatsue. We bend our heads, we bow and are silent, because we understand that by ourselves alone, we are nothing at all, dust in a strong wind, while the 'hakujin' believes his aloneness is everything, his separateness is the foundation of his existence. He seeks and grasps, seeks and grasps for his separateness, while we seek union with the Greater Life--you must see that these are distinct paths we are travelling, Hatsue, the 'hakujin' and we Japanese" (p. 176).”
David Guterson, Snow Falling on Cedars

“A roll of the dice will never abolish chance.”
Stéphane Mallarmé

“I've been homesick for countries I've never been, and longed to be where I couldn't be.”
