Either would be fine, though there are a few flashbacks which some people have called confusing. The storyline is not as involuted. Here, have the audiobook version, on me: enter 3ZY2QMEQHUXXD as a download code, and get it for free. :)
The biggest problem people have with the audiobook, is it lacks the front/back matter pages I put in the print and ebook versions. However, I put those pages into a separate file, for reference : https://www.goodreads.com/reader/4165...
Hope you enjoy it!

Both books will be narrated by Greg Tremblay. You can expect Mercury to be out around the end of March, and Ascension sometime in late April or May. Enjoy!

I have a prequel series partially planned out, set during the first age, but I haven't decided whether to pursue it. Otherwise, no, I don't have any other works planned in that story universe at this time.

That's a hard question. After Interscission is wrapped up, I might go back to work on The Red Wind, a prequel to the Pact Arcanum saga, set during the First Age. I wrote about 60 pages previously, but didn't have a clear idea where the series was going, so dropped it. I'd have to think in detail about how best to continue it before I picked it up again.

It was supposed to be a trilogy, but my beta readers felt that the ending was too pat, and I needed to <spoiler> give the villain more play, rather than killing him off. </spoiler> The fourth book should wrap up the series definitively, with a bang. Honest. I swear.

I pushed the release date of the 4th book back to late 2018, because I was burnt out and wasn't up to working on it. Hopefully, I can get back to it early this year, and wrap it up in time for a fall 2018 release. The audiobook will follow after ebook/print publication.

I plot out the book beforehand, down to the scene level, before I even start writing. Then, if a new twist occurs to me, I revise the outline, so I always know the direction I'm working toward, and don't write myself into a corner. :)

The sequel to Zenith, which is called Declination, and is intended to be the penultimate book in the series. The final book will be called Ascension, and is not yet fully scripted.

1. Write your first draft all the way through before going back to revise. If you continually revisit previous material, you will never finish the first draft, which is the basis for all further development.
2. Know your middle and ending beforehand, even if you choose not to write a full outline. You can change your mind later, as new ideas develop while writing the book, but always have a strong sense of where you're going and how you plan to get there.

The ability to create without limitations. Unlike other creative activities, the medium is intangible, therefore there are no physical barriers to what you can accomplish. The only limitations are skill and imagination.

I work on other aspects until I feel in a mood to write again: marketing, illustration, etc.
