It isn't yet, but I'll be working to get it Kindle ready. Thank you for asking, Eugenie!

Thank you for asking, Maureen! Each poem and each short story in this collection has its own inspiration, which I talk about in the preface of my book. Many of the settings were inspired by my time living in Italy and traveling across Europe, settings such as long-forgotten castle ruins, and Medieval, grand cemeteries. One poem is a sad "goodbye" for the day I had to leave and come back to America, leaving the life I once had and people behind. Life in general has also been an inspiration, what I've learned about human nature, and life's emotional and physical struggles. Never to give up, but to persevere.
What has inspired me most, however, is the way in which God has worked in my life. He is the only way I live and thrive, and I hope to share what I have learned of faith and compassion with readers.
I also have a section of difficult riddles for readers. The idea was first inspired when I was young after reading the Hobbit. Golem asked Bilbo a series of riddles, and that grew in me a fascination for them! I started writing my own, and would give them as little presents to my mother every year on her birthday. I placed the best ones in the book, along with a few lovely poems my mother had written.

Keep working at it! Improve your writing skills, and edit your work to the best of your ability. Just like an artist practices before their first painting, writers must practice and polish before their first book is ready.
If it's writing and self publishing advice you're looking for, I've posted a guide and lots of articles on my blog: www.rawlse.wordpress.com I want to help other fantasy and fiction writers get their books out there!

The same way I find inspiration. Admiring artwork, nature, browsing through myths and legends while I take a break from writing feeds my mind's imagination, and praying for guidance on how the story should go. In addition to this, I make time to do the other thing I enjoy as much as writing, which is reading! Reading forces me to leave my stories alone for a while, giving me that much needed break.

It's funny because the main character of my coming-soon series actually started out as a little nobody character in a previous work I was writing when I was younger. But as I was writing and learning more about this little character, I realized his story was a whole new series, in and of itself, and one I truly adore!

Reading amazing stories, watching amazing stories, thumbing through amazing fantasy art...yep! Filling my head with the things that first drew me in to love stories. But even with all that inspiration, I never could have written a word of it without God's guidance. I ask and He guides my words.

A fantasy christian series about a group of humanoid youngsters growing up within a bitter world where unfounded hatred is common between peoples, who are on the verge of war once again. There is a lot of comedy, despite the darker undertones, and fun "slice-of-life" moments, and character growth/developement as the group make their way to adult hood.
But that's only a small fraction of the story. I'll be giving more details once I have most of the editing for the first book done ;)

Creating new worlds and the characters within them is both fun and inspiring! As a writer I enjoy bringing these stories to life and sharing them with readers.
