(view spoiler)[Hi, Benjamin. I seriously want to remember this book right now. I read it a few years ago, I think. I remember loving it immensely. Can you tell me if both Victoria and Atlas find out they are cyborg/androids at the end? If this is that book, I will buy a copy. I would love to see you continue the series.

You are think, most probably, of Phillip K. Dick's do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep. I am still working on this trilogy. I have not had as much early success as a novelist, so my alternate careers have taken priority.

There is nothing really great about being a writer, actually. It's hard work and for a long time you're not going to be recognized for your work. You'll often get bogged down in a depression that stems from not feeling recognized or even read. The enjoyable moments, for me, are when I get to hear from people who actually read my book from start to finish. I get to talk about something I made up like I'm an expert and it's kind of cool.

Nothing inspires me more than things that make me angry. you see a world without heroes and with things being done because that's the way they have always been done. I write angry. I want to always write heroes who are angry.

Start writing as soon as possible and write often and heavily. don't doubt yourself or edit yourself or think your ideas are bad. You should work on an idea at least a year before you ask if its bad and then if the answer is "yes, this is horrible" you should begin re-writing. Writing can sometimes be the only artform where bad becomes good through persistence and productivity.
