The plots come from all kinds of places, very rarely with my actually seeking them out. They often come from tangential threads to my own research or a story / article that I've read that sparks my interest. For example, The Sterling Affair came about after I received an email from The National Archives saying that formerly classified MI5 & MI6 spy documents from the 1950s were being released and I thought that would make an excellent story!

Thanks for the question. This is not certain yet. Usually books that have been out for a longer time have ‘spells’ in the KU programme, but they aren’t guaranteed permanently included. When titles are included in KU, they are removed from sale in all other platforms. At the moment, there are no plans to include this title in the KU programme.

I used to think Julian Ovenden (Foyle's War) would make a good Morton but now he's getting a bit older (same age as me, I hasten to add!) I think someone like Ben Aldridge.

Oh yes, plenty more to come! I'm currently writing the latest full-length Morton Farrier book - about 80% written so far. I'm hoping for a release early next year.
I grew up in Hastings and didn't know anything about the America Ground until I began researching it for the book - such an interesting period.
