Zechariah Barrett I wrote my first book in Middle School, and then used the basic premise of that one for a book I wrote in around 2010-2011, during my Sophomore year of High School. Neither of these have yet to be published, however.

I've often described writing fiction as being very close to reading. It's because it feels very similar. Once I've gotten past the initial barrier of coming up with an idea and getting started, it just flows. It's like reading, because it becomes automatic. I see the story unravel before me, and am as much surprised as a reader with the happenings on each page. Some of it is premeditated, but much of it is not. This is why I enjoy it. This is what interested me. I'm sad when I read a great book or series, and come to the end. With writing, it never has to end. I can always pick up a pen.
