Hi Aura, thanks for reaching out! The re-release date for Book#3 keeps getting pushed. At this point it'll be out in October, I believe on Halloween :) It is not the last book. I'm currently writing the fourth and final book in the series which will be released in 2024 :)

Hi Rick, thanks for reaching out and asking :) The Search for the Sacred Goldfish is 75% complete and I'm hoping to complete and publish it this year (fingers crossed). It's been a long time in the works.
While you're waiting, I recommend checking out one of my other novels. If you liked DTDTG then you'll probably also enjoy STILTSKIN. Though you may be equally disappointing to find that the sequel for that one is sitting at around -2% complete.

That's a tough one . . . I have a few . . .
Arthur Dent and Trillion in Hitchhiker's Guide the Galaxy even though they're doomed for certain failure :) But their dynamic is such a common relationship trope that it's enjoyable (he loves her, she's really not into it) because it's in space!
The Vampire Lestat and Louis throughout the Vampire Chronicles. The kinship and adoration that began with such conflict but grew into eternal companionship has a unique sort of beauty to it.
The relationship between Clarice Starling and Hannibal Lecter in the books is amazing, but I think they actually beat it in the TV show Hannibal with the relationship between Will Graham and Hannibal. Their admiration for each other is spellbinding, particularly in the show finale.
My favourite though is a little on the lame and mushy side. It's Wesley and Buttercup from the Princess Bride by William Goldman. I know, I know. It's a kissing book! But I've always loved that book and the film that followed. It's the story of wuv! Twu wuv! Wesley would do anything to save Buttercup and she loves him in return with such a passion that she became dead inside when she though him dead. You can't get anymore pure than that ;)

I always thought I had at least one good horror novel in me. Not true, not true at all. The problem with writing satirical fantasy and comedy is that it's almost impossible not to see everything through that same particular pair of glasses. I started Hair in All the Wrong Places as a horror novel called Elkwood and then it quickly became apparent that I can't write without humor. So while Hair in All the Wrong Places is a true werewolf novel, there are funny bits throughout :) The concept came more from an idea I had for a film project over a decade ago to shoot a series of short films based around this one small town called Elkwood. It evolved and became various other projects before manifesting itself as my almost complete WIP.

I stare at it with the intensity of a mongoose watching a viper. After many moons the writer's block will is shattered and it crumbles into dust.
Or
I actually don't know, I've fortunately never been cursed with writer's block. Procrastination on the other hand, that guy visits a lot!
