(view spoiler)[Hello! I just finished All the Little Truths and loved it! Following Finley's story has been so fun. I had a hard time putting the book down. I was just wondering if there is going to be another book in the series because I am dying to know if she becomes the DA and what that journey would be like? I can't wait to read your other work. Thank you for your amazing books! (hide spoiler)]

Hello! Wonderful to hear from you! I’m so pleased you’re interested in my books! Since I’ve had 172 published so far, the answer is a little complicated lol. I’ve had many series! My most recent are: the Vera Mae Boyett series coming this summer, starting with DEEPER THAN THE DEAD; the Finley O’Sullivan series, THE LAST LIE TOLD, THE NATURE OF SECRETS, ALL THE LITTLE TRUTHS; the Devlin & Falco series, TRUST NO ONE, GONE TOO FAR, CAN’T GO BACK; the Faces of Evil series, OBSESSION, IMPULSE, POWER, RAGE, REVENGE, SILENCE, RUTHLESS, VICIOUS, VILE, HEINOUS, DEPRAVED, THE WEDDING and THE DYING ROOM. There are many more! There’s a printable list of all my books on my website! Thank you! Deb

Hi Miki! I actually decided on Finley as a way to show she was named after Jack Finnegan. I had Jack's name so coming up with Finley was easy. I love the name! I hope you enjoy The Nature of Secrets (book 2) and you can preorder All The Little Truths (book 3) now as well!

(view spoiler)[Hi. I just finished reading Bone Deep and Bone Cold. At the end of Bone Deep, Kate is alive and doing well, and Jill is married to Paul. At the end of Bone Cold, when talking about the parents coming to get their rescued children, Kate Adams appears to be dead and Jill appears to have longer be married to Paul, who was actually involved at the end of the story. It’s very incongruous, with no explanation? (hide spoiler)]

Hello,
Thank you for contacting me. I’m sorry for any confusion. Jill and Paul are still married and have a child ; and Kate and Cody are fine. There are references to Paul’s wife and family.
In Chapter 13: Paul Phillips and his family had barely escaped with their lives.
Tom had ensured any files on Paul’s wife and sister-in-law had vanished.
Chapter 26: Phillips looked healthy and vibrant. He’d showed Sarah and Tom photos of his family.
As you can see from these references, Paul and his family are fine.
One of the children in the Bone Cold story is named Katie (Katie Adams) which may have been confusing. If so, I’m sorry for any stumble this caused in the flow of the story.
I hope you enjoyed the stories!
Best,
Debra

Hello! Great to hear from you! Unfortunately, there has been a delay and the next Winchester book won't be out until October of 2021! I'm so sorry for the wait! Meanwhile, I'd love you to check out my new release, THE LIE! Out now!

Hi Suzie! I've been writing for over 25 years! So I've written a lot of books but over a long period of time. I would suggest keeping a story journal! Great to hear from you!

I would love to write more of those books! Maybe one day! I hope you'll watch for my new Undertaker's Daughter series coming next spring, starting with The Secrets We Bury.

Hi Monica! I would love to write more books with Bobbie and Nick in the future. Meanwhile, I hope you'll watch for my new series, The Undertaker's Daughter coming next April. But before that, look for my next book, the dead girl, coming October 4! It's part of a 4 book mini series called the BREAKDOWN!

Hello Barbara! Erica Green is my older daughter and, yes, she is an author. She helped me with some of the research and editing on Bone Deep so I gave her credit in this way. I hope one day she'll be publishing a book. She's working on one now!

Cintia, first congratulations on knowing what you want. Sometimes we go through life never making up our minds. Now, the truth is you're not an aspiring writer, you are a writer. Remember that. Next, ignore all that negativity. This isn't about what happens to other manuscripts, this is about yours. The one absolute that will prevent you from becoming a published writer is if you DON'T write. So write. Write a little bit (even if only a sentence or two) every day! If possible, pick a time and a place (like your home study or bedroom, wherever you can have some quiet) and write that little bit everyday. If you do this, writing will become a habit. And when that time of day arrives, your brain will know it's time to write and it will be ready to create! We are humans, creatures of habit so make writing a habit of yours. Keep writing until you finish a story. Short story, full length novel--whatever! Just write it! Then write the next one and the next one whether the first ones sell or not. This will hone your skill! I wrote numerous short stories and 5 full length novels before I sold one. Always remember that selling a manuscript to a publisher does not make you a writer--WRITING makes you a writer!

If I'd told someone the first time I heard the screams, or even the second. But I didn't...I was afraid...

My father's father abandoned him when he was two years old. Then, after several years of abuse from a stepfather, his mother died on Christmas Eve when he was fourteen. My father took care of himself from that day forward, working in the shipyards of Birmingham until he was seventeen and then joining the Army. Sixteen years after abandoning him, his father contacted him via a letter to the military. The two reunited. My grandfather never spoke of what happened to him during those sixteen years, but whatever happened, he was a changed man. A loving father and a wonderful grandfather. The day he died he told my father that he would never forgive himself for what he had done to him and his mother all those years ago. To this day I often wonder what provided the wakeup call that sent my grandfather in search of his abandoned son. Whatever it was, I am grateful for having known him and for the love he showered on my father to make up for lost time.

I love Claire and Jamie of the Outlander series. They are the type of couple I most love to write--opposites in every way, strong, determined, yet deeply caring. The sort of people I love in real life!

Hi Rachel!
I'm thrilled you're reading No Darker Place! The prequel, The Blackest Crimson, is available in ebook only and is on sale now. I don't believe it's essential to read the prequel first. Many details are woven into No Darker Place about that story. However, if you have the time I do think the prequel will add depth to your understanding of what makes Bobbie who she is as No Darker Place begins. Enjoy!
