I'm currently working on Love's Forbidden Embrace, which is Book Two of my paranormal series. Until Spring of 2015, my goal is to work exclusively on my Volkoff Pack series. At this time, I have two novels and one short story planned for release before I move on to any other projects.

There are a lot of things that inspire my writing. Most of the time it's a song that triggers a scene in my mind. Sometimes it's a conversation with my family. It can also be something as simple as a couple at the grocery store. I see or sometimes even hear a conversation and my writer's mind goes into overdrive. I find myself rewriting the scene or adding background information that brought them to that point. I write it down in the notebook I always carry with me for later us. My husband thinks I'm weird, but my kids enjoy my creativity.

The idea for my most recent book, To Embrace a Highlander came to me while writing Book Two. The scene near the end when the clan members are discussing the Campbell Witch inspired me to write a sequel involving Conn and her. Book Three in my MacKay series has morphed several times since then, until it evolved into the sweet romance that it is today.
