I have to admit, this one really made me think. I'm going to avoid the obvious answer of my own characters from "Without Chance", and am going to say Sunwolf and Starhawk from Barbra Hambly's "The Unschooled Wizard" trilogy. Lovers born of friends, friends born of colleagues, these two were partners in the truest sense of the word. That undying loyalty, ability to completely rely on one another, and a love based on mutual respect and appreciation. That's what I always wanted for myself, and to my eternal gratitude, have found.

That's why I put in the post-it. :) I didn't want anyone starting it not knowing that it was the second book and wondering what on earth was going on. I've done that a time or two and it's incredibly frustrating. I'd be happy to send you an ebook of the first book in the series. After the recent successful release of "Without Chance", I've been able to get back to working on my original project, "The Starjumper Legacy". Book one, "The Crystal Key", has received such incredibly positive response that I am excited to be able to continue the story in "The Vanishing Sun".
Writing this novel has been quite a challenge with the new baby in the house and my recent obsession with finishing "Without Chance", but things are moving along and I fully expect to meet the deadlines for release in November 2014!
