Who is your favorite fictional couple, and why?

Christopher Bailey I have to admit, this one really made me think. I'm going to avoid the obvious answer of my own characters from "Without Chance", and am going to say Sunwolf and Starhawk from Barbra Hambly's "The Unschooled Wizard" trilogy. Lovers born of friends, friends born of colleagues, these two were partners in the truest sense of the word. That undying loyalty, ability to completely rely on one another, and a love based on mutual respect and appreciation. That's what I always wanted for myself, and to my eternal gratitude, have found.

I received the second book of the series as ARC, but you put a post it to remind me it is the second book. Do you have a summary of the first one, or some ebooks available? always a shame to begin in the middle of it... Thanks for the book, it looks nice.
