Hi Lady Book Fairy! Thank you for your messages and apologies for not replying before! Yes, I will be starting work on Book #13 of my Oxford Tearoom Mysteries later this year, once I finish writing my current "secret project". As for what it's about - well, I'm still mulling over some ideas but I did have a strong spark of inspiration during the recent Xmas hols for a premise to base the plot on. I shared the details with my newsletter subscribers in my last email. So if you haven't signed up to my newsletter yet, that's the best thing to do as you'll get ALL the behind-the-scenes stuff on upcoming books, ideas, inspiration, etc - you'll be the first to know! Thanks for your lovely message and I'm so happy that you're enjoying my books! When you get to the final scene of Book #12, there will be a clue as to what might happen with Devlin & Gemma! ;-)
I will be starting work on Book #13 later this year, once I finish the current "secret project" I am working on - but to be honest, I often don't know until I start writing the story how the characters will react until I put them in certain situations. Even when I plot & plan everything a certain way in the outline - when I come to actually write it, I find that that the stories and characters often "tell" me what REALLY happens, rather than what I thought would happen! Sometimes they just won't behave the way I want them to! Even if I try to force myself to write it a certain way (to follow my original outline) - it just feels very wrong and inauthentic - and I feel compelled to change it.
So I'm afraid I can't really answer your questions as I don't know myself - haha! I will only know once I write the stories. I certainly intend for them to get back together... let's hope that they agree! ;-)

There are now 12 books in the Oxford Tearoom Mysteries, so you've got a lot more stories after the ones you read to enjoy :-)
And yes, I also have 2 other cozy mystery series: the English Cottage Garden Mysteries and the Bewitched by Chocolate Mysteries, which is a paranormal cozy.

Hi Lyssa - thanks for your message and I'm glad you're enjoying the series!
I'm a a bit confused by your question though. Book 6 in my "Bewitched by Chocolate" mysteries is already out, in all formats, including audio. It has been out since Sep/Oct last year? (2019). If you're actually asking about Book 7, that will hopefully be out early next year (2021). If you join my Readers' Club newsletter, you will be notified when it's available and you won't miss it! :-)
Here's the link to Book 6 on Audible, in case you missed it - Double, Double, Toil and Truffle: https://www.audible.com/pd/B07Z89RM84...) .

Hi Edith - thanks for your message and your kind words! :-) I'm so pleased you're enjoying my Oxford Tearoom Mysteries.
Book 4 is planned for release at the end of Jun 2016 (hopefully!) and I will be doing a cover & title reveal to my newsletter subscribers soon (I always tell my subscribers everything first!) but I can tell you the story will centre around a murder that happens when Gemma & Muesli attend a cat show at the local village fete...!
If you sign up to my mailing list, you'll be the first to get all the updates, as well as sneak previews of the new book. :-) Oh, and I'm also running an exclusive giveaway for my subscribers - the chance to win a set of the first 3 books, signed by me and "pawtographed" by Muesli! The email with details of the giveaway will be going out tomorrow. Here's the link to sign up to the newsletter: http://www.hyhanna.com/newsletter
Thanks again for getting in touch!

Hi Leslie! Yes, I think so - there is a lot of foreshadowing early on in the stories and clues there pointing to the answers, although hopefully - if I've done my job well enough! :-) - the reader wouldn't realise until they get to the end that there were clues there all along.
The second book (A Secret in Time) is more like a traditional whodunnit with several contenders for the villain and you have to decide which clues are the red herrings, etc - the first book (Curse of the Scarab) is more like a suspense story, where you have a good idea of the villain but you're not sure how/what/where - and there is a clock ticking! :-)
The HOLIDAY Collection is made up of 3 short holiday-themed mysteries which are simpler - but there are still clues pointing to the answer as well, especially in Treasure from the Past (the Easter special)
Thanks for your interest! :-)
