Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

James Graham Wilson For Paul Nitze it had to do with his longevity. And the comparisons to George Kennan, who was really only involved in the crafting of U.S. Cold War policies for four years. Nitze stuck around--in varying capacities--for about forty years.

What are you currently working on?

James Graham Wilson I'm considering editing the diary of Max Kampelman covering the years 1985–1988. I presume this would be a massive best seller.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

James Graham Wilson Keep writing. I feel like writing, ultimately, is a form of therapy. It does not particularly what you write or who reads it. It is good to get whatever you are thinking down on paper or on the screen. You can always revise it.
