Lucia Franco Hi Rebecca!

Thank you for the love!!

So I'm currently working on a few things.... Out of Bounds (a deleted scenes book) will have a new short story from Avery and Xavier's POV. I'm pretty excited about this and where it's leading! The rest of the audiobooks in the OB series will publish at some point this year. Release is finished and is going through editing. I'll be sharing about it where once it's available!

Thanks for asking!

xoxo

Lucia Franco Hi! Hush, Hush is a standalone book. While there's not a second book, Say Yes is a short story about James and Aubrey that you can read after Hush!
Lucia Franco Heyyyy Kiyana!

Your question made me laugh! I do plan to have more Off Balance book in the future, but they will either be spin-offs or novellas. As of right now, I don't have one planned, but that's because I'm deep into plotting a mafia romance. :) I promise it won't be forever away though!

Thanks so much for your question!

Lucia Franco Hey Z!

Firstly, I really appreciate that you actually came to ask this question rather than accuse me of horrific things.

I do not support pedophilia under any circumstances. I'm not sure if you're aware, but pedophilia refers to sexual attraction to girls under the age of 13. Not now nor have I ever, been a supporter of that. Pedophiles are absolutely repulsive and sicken me to the core.

If you remember, Adrianna turns 17 a quarter into the first book, Balance. That is nearly 4 years more than what is to be considered pedophilia. In the state she lives, Georgia, the age of consent is 16. Statutory rape not is actually being committed because she is of sound mind and body, and at the legal age to make choices govern by the state in which she lives. Her parents have granted her permission to live on her own hours away because she is more than capable. The only "person" (since this is a fictional story) who could say otherwise, is a judge in a court of law where hard evidence would have to submitted against Kova.

I wish you loved the book too and I'm sorry you didn't! I'm so glad you wanted to talk about it, though. While you may see it as grooming, I most definitely don't. Not when I was a gymnast for many, many years and applied my personal experience into the story. I don't believe it promotes pursing minors either, not when the character is the legal age of consent, living on their own, and quite often purses the hero herself first.

It's a matter of opinions in reality, but this is fiction, and why reading is so fun! It gets your mind spinning and pushes you out of your comfort zone to question your morals.

As for the hero cheating 97% of the book - I'm a lover of the anti-heroes and cheating romances. I'm not really sure how those qualities are a plausible excuse for statuary rape, but I personally love those kind characters in my romance reads.

I know my books aren't for everyone, and that's totally ok. Thanks again for personally coming to me to talk. I really appreciate it.

xoxo,

Lucia

Lucia Franco Heyyy!!

Ahhhh THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!! I'm so happy you love it! Truly means so much to me!

I'd like to give Hayden a novella one day. I feel like I owe it to him, you know? I think doing one for Reagan would actually be fun too!!

xoxo
Lucia Franco Natalie is a FAVORITE of mine! I hadn't planned to write a book for her when I wrote Hush, Hush, but so many people adored her that I decided I will! I'm currently writing a new book right now but I do plan to incorporate that one in to my writing schedule. I have a feeling her story will be so much fun to write!
