Eman Quotah If writer's block means not feeling like writing, then I deal with it either by pushing through and forcing myself to do or by not forcing myself and instead taking a break. Someone once told me, "The writing life is long." You'll have another chance to write tomorrow or next month or even next year. (Inshallah/god willing.)

If writer's block means not being able to write a particular scene or chapter or section or poem, then I deal with it by either forcing myself to do it, and then coming back and making better. Or by hopping over to another part of what I'm working on or another project all together, then coming back later. Sometimes being away from the writing and thinking about it helps you figure out how to solve the problem.
Eman Quotah For me it's that being a writer is what I've wanted to do since I was in first grade, and I get to do it, and that's amazing.
Eman Quotah I'm a curious person, and there are lots of things I observe in the world or hear about or read about that make me want to write my take on them.
Eman Quotah BRIDE OF THE SEA was inspired by a situation that happened to a friend of my family many years ago.
