Goodreads asked Eman Quotah:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Eman Quotah If writer's block means not feeling like writing, then I deal with it either by pushing through and forcing myself to do or by not forcing myself and instead taking a break. Someone once told me, "The writing life is long." You'll have another chance to write tomorrow or next month or even next year. (Inshallah/god willing.)

If writer's block means not being able to write a particular scene or chapter or section or poem, then I deal with it by either forcing myself to do it, and then coming back and making better. Or by hopping over to another part of what I'm working on or another project all together, then coming back later. Sometimes being away from the writing and thinking about it helps you figure out how to solve the problem.
