Sorry to ask another question but, will we ever get to meet the sixth formers that stopped most of the bullying. Also, why was the kid who was dared to kiss Charlie acting weird? Was he just nervous and uncomfortable or is it more than that?
Alice Oseman No, that won't be a part of the story. And it's because he did want to kiss Charlie, at least a little bit!

Do you think that Nick and Charlie are going to be together forever or was it like a long romance thing and then they eventually drifted apart. Also, Nick and Charlie are relationship goals and I'm jealous because I'm not allowed to date yet. P.S.: Will Nick ever get his jumpers back or does he stay cold forever?
Alice Oseman I like to imagine they'll be together forever! :) And yes, Charlie gives the jumpers back eventually (once they no longer smell like Nick, probably)

Alice Oseman Thank you so much! Honestly, I have no idea. I created them way back in 2012, can you believe!! I can't remember what my thought processes were. And they've grown as characters a lot over the years!

I live in Canada and the release date for Heartstopper 3 is May of 2021. I know that it's already released in the US. I was wondering if there was a reason for the staggered release dates in different countries?
Alice Oseman Actually, the US and Canada have the same release dates - it's the UK that's ahead, because that's where it's being released first, because that's where I'm from. The US/Canada are behind because international editions generally take longer to be released than the 'home' edition.

Nick and Charlier make me feel so whole and feel like there's hope in this awful world so I was wondering when Heartstopper is over, do you plan to have any other material on them or plan to continue to write books in their universe? Thank you so much and I seriously adore anything and everything you do!
Alice Oseman I'm so glad you're enjoying the comic! I don't currently have any plans about what I'll do after Heartstopper is complete. Heartstopper won't be complete for at least 2 years, and I don't plan that far ahead.

I just read your heartstopper series. I wanted to ask you that are your comics and the comics that are converted in books, are they same or they have somethings different?
Alice Oseman Are you asking whether the graphic novels and the webcomic contain the same content? The answer to that is yes!

Hi! Teen writer here! I was just wondering what do you do when you have no motivation to write do you have any tips? Also words can't describe how much I loved your book loveless It's one the best books I have read all year it was so beautiful.Have a good day :)
Alice Oseman It depends. I take a break if I can and do other things that make me happy or make me feel inspired. If I'm on deadline and can't afford to take a break, I do as much as I can to make writing easier for me - finding a calm, quiet place to sit, blocking social media websites from my browser, finding a nice instrumental playlist, etc. I also often take this as a sign that I need to work on my plan a bit more - if I'm struggling to know what to write next, then I take another look at my plan and see if it needs reworking.

Hi Alice,Aled wasn't specifically said to be agender but I feel like the way they were described says something. Especially the fact that their hair and many other things being the same with Radio.Since Radio was agender, can we say that Aled is also agender?
Alice Oseman I didn't intentionally write him as agender, but I'm very happy for you to interpret him that way if you'd like to!

Alice Oseman There aren't any current plans for Heartstopper audiobooks! I'm not too sure how we would be able to make an audiobook, since Heartstopper is a graphic novel!

Do you plan translate more of your books/novels into Brazilian Portuguese? I mean, i really REALLY love them and i would love read the others!!! i appreciate them so much!! ☆ Srry for any mistake, idk write in english very well
Alice Oseman Unfortunately no Brazilian publishers have made an offer to translate and publish my other books, I'm sorry! Authors don't have any control over where their books are translated and published. A Brazilian publisher would have to express interest in my books and make an offer! Maybe someday!

Alice Oseman There are not hardcover editions of IWBFT or Loveless! The UK editions are paperback. You can buy the UK paperbacks online - try Book Depository, who have free international shipping, or Waterstones!

The fourth volume of HEARTSTOPPER is coming out in May 2021!

Alice Oseman I'm sure there will be a fifth novel eventually but I have no current plans for a new full-length book! My focus is on Heartstopper at the moment plus a couple of other unannounced projects. And thank you!!

Hi Alice, I absolutely adore your work and was wondering how you came up with the themes of your novels as I really struggle with that when I’m given the homework by English teacher, to challenge me, to come up with something that I would enjoy writing as well as have others enjoy?
Alice Oseman I like to write about things I care about! Whether that's particular issues that have affected me personally (like school stress, or mental health, or sexuality!) or whether that's just certain topics that I'm interested in (like podcasts, or fandom, or Shakespeare!) - it just has to be something I care about :) Hope that helps!

Hey, first off, not to be cringe, but I adore you. I finished writing and editing my first book a few months ago and have finally decided to start submitting to a few agents. Did you mention your age in your cover letter? I’m a teenager and I’m not sure whether I should in case it will make agents take me less seriously.

Alice Oseman I'm so glad you're enjoying it! LOVELESS was inspired by lots and lots of things, but a big one was my own experiences with sexuality.
