Life for people like me, who has so many questions and not all the answers, contains mysteries. Some of which keep haunting me again and again, often showing up in my poetry, since I mainly write poetry.

I have read both SK and DK, though less of DK. Stephen has more books. Both are very good in what they do, in their own ways.

My poetry collection OUT OF NOWHERE, so far my only published book, was self-published through Amazon.

It happens to me all the time. A line or two of poetry forms in my head, usually when I'm in the middle of something else and I tell myself to put them down on some paper. Then I forget and that line or two is gone for good.

The best time is somehow always at night after 10 pm. However I write any time I feel like writing and since it's mostly poetry, often I write a line or two between other works. Because if I don't, that line or two will be lost forever.

Interesting question. I don’t do it consciously. However often I find myself rewriting (in my mind) one or more lines of poetry that I read. Every mind is unique despite the building blocks like flesh, blood, memory being same. Likewise every word has a standard meaning found in the dictionary. The way the words are assembled in poetry try to convey some specific meaning. When a line makes an impact on a reader his or her mind can play with it and rewrite so that it appeals to him/her most. The reader wants to hear things the way he/she is most comfortable to hear, which normally syncs with the way he/she talks or writes. I guess what you do is nothing unusual. Your mind makes the words more meaningful and interesting for you.

Thanks for the question Nathaniel, I have been writing poetry for more than 25 years now. Not only better, I feel rejuvenated after finishing a poem!

There are a thousand things to do in the world. And writing for me remains the best thing I love doing. When I crave some inspiration I tell that to myself.

It took me the whole of last decade and maybe more to write the poems in my collection OUT OF NOWHERE. I think the idea to get them out in black and white has been ingrained in me from times unknown.

Poems for my next poetry book. And a couple of short stories.

Basically I have 3 for the aspiring authors: Write, Write, and Write. And during the intervals, Read.

I get to do what I dream of doing all the time.

I found out if I can get myself to sit down and begin, the block goes away. Getting myself to sit down and start is the main problem here. So I try to block the writing time and clear out distractions (eg. Facebook) and most of the time it works.
