GOODBYE 2018
It's been a great year.
Not just personally, but for my growth as an author as well.
We've come to the inevitable end, the goodbye, the bittersweet farewell.
And as I look back at the year, I'm stunned at everything I've done. For a moment, I'll be real with you.
This year started out rough, between not knowing exactly where I was going with my writing, or if I even wanted to continue. But then it hit me. Even if I never went anywhere with my career, it was for me and for my mental health and my sanity. And that was enough to keep going.
Having a writer's mind isn't easy in any sense of the word. It's a barrage of constantly thinking, wondering, exploring, and never standing still just to breathe. Unless breathing is drowning and there's no air left.
So, coming to this realization of IT'S FOR ME, was when I decided I'd keep writing, even if I never published again. And look at where I'm at! I released two novellas and two short stories this year. It didn't total out to a lot in the word department, but I wrote over 375k words in the end, starting tons of projects for the next year. (Because, let's be honest, I'm crazy.)
I hit international bestseller with both Firsts and Lasts, and that alone hit one of my lifetime goals. It was only the beginning. I hope that next year is even more successful than this year. And that you are all here to experience it with me.
Because, without you readers, I'd be nowhere.
I thank YOU.
I appreciate YOU.
And most importantly, I love every single one of you.

Beta Readers!
My beta readers are loving to hate me at the moment. Their comments are nice but then beyond angry. Will you survive her bite? That is the real question...

Editing...
I've been waiting on my editor for my book back. I'm stoked but terrified at the same time. You know those jitters, I have those! I'm excited to let Evangeline out into the world, she's not exactly the nicest person out there.
