Genres Suck (get over it)

Dont get me started on genres. But whether you think genres take you on exhilarating new journeys or on a familiar trudge along worn-out paths where only the donkey droppings are fresh, theres one thing for sure: youre far more likely to go looking for a book if its similar to another book you liked.

Long Silence

Its been ages since I posted. I havent forgotten about writing and in fact its been at the top of my mind. But things have changed and my downloads of Screw Friendship have gone from a steady trickle to practically zero. Im afraid I have to bite the genre bullet. Im just not sure yet which bullet to bite.

Eight-times More Kindle Books Turn Zombie

We all know zombie books sell. But theres a different kind of zombie book that definitely doesnt and I suspect there are millions upon millions of them. Are most books downloaded free on Amazon instantly turning zombie with no hope in hell of ever being read?

Yay, Kobo!

Publishing my e-books was an experience akin to a dental procedure on every platform bar one: Kobo Writing Life.

Reviews Matter

As a new author, a huge frustration is trying to get somebody to write a frickin review. Even people who love the books and presumably would like the author to survive, dont want to do it.
