While I read many genre and select subjects in non-fiction, I've written mostly scifi/fantasy. Although I have more scifi in the works, this is changing as I'm also working on an historical and on a contemporary romance.

My first book, Magic Aegis, was published in 2005 and won the Dream Realm Award for Fantasy that year. Change and Acceptance are written in that same fantasy world. My science fiction efforts started with Rogue's Rules, which was a Dream Realm Award finalist, is about a multi-personality heroine. Loser's Game and Devil's Due complete that series. Devil's Due is an EPPIE finalist as well as a Dream Realm finalist for 2007.

Home World, Aginfeld is a futuristic romance and part of to-be-written series called Home Worlds.

An Excerpt from Crewkin--a holiday in unknown space

This round robin is about the spirit of the season, which everyone knows can be wonderful or painful or an odd combination of both.

This 'holiday' excerpt comes from Crewkin, a sci-fi story set in a space-time warp where a beleaguered ship, the Vagrant Spirit, meant only for short hauls, now travels. The crew knows little about what is happening or how it happened except for the engine they wer Read more of this blog post »

Lori Hi Rhobin! Thank you for the Friend's story. I didn't really know how it all worked and I can't manage to add to my side of the story, so I thought I'd say it here.

I knew Rhobin through our publisher, Wings. Becoming critique partners through the Muse It Up Club, was a very happy accident. I don't normally read fantasies since I have a hard time "seeing" the world. However, Rhobin does a wonderful job of description without slowing the story. I highly recommend any of her books. I've read Magic Aegis and throughly enjoyed it! Her other books are on my TBR pile!

Rhobin Thanks, Daniel.
I hope when you get to them you find them enjoyable. I was looking at your Universities Asleep at the Switch: A Fresh Look at Quantum Physics and thinking real hard about purchasing it. I love reading about quantum physics although I must admit I don't always reach any form of greater understanding.
