Online Course in Astroshamanic Soul Retrieval
This is an online course aimed at those who are in resonance with the multidimensional healing themes covered by our institute and wish to have a deeper direct experience with them. The practice of soul retrieval is based on the awareness that the most painful problems of human life are due to the loss of parts of our authentic nature, which need to be identified and recovered, restored to the integrity of the whole to which they legitimately belong.
In astroshamanism, astrology is used experientially as a strategic cartography of the soul to identify its lost parts, understand its dynamics, incorporate and fully integrate them into the awareness of our being.
The course involves the astroshamanic exploration of each of the twelve zodiac archetypes, representing as a whole the complete symbolic structure of the soul. The course includes twelve series of three sessions each, allowing an integral exploration of the earthly, solar and lunar cycles. Although it is recommended to participate in the entire annual course, this is not a mandatory requirement, so it is also possible to participate in a quarter of three series each, for a total of nine sessions.
During the course, we explore the following:
a) how to identify the different parts of your being, the parallel worlds, the energies that operate inside and outside of you
b) how to open yourself to the mystery of higher and multidimensional realities, receiving direct teachings from these spaces, in order to apply them in ordinary life.
c) how to discover and develop your healing abilities, learning to share them with others to promote healing and well-being in your life and environment.
d) how to allow every aspect of your nature, including the darkest and most embarrassing ones, to be accepted and transformed into powerful fertilizer aimed at fertilizing your gifts and promoting healing in your life and that of others.
The course consists of three sessions per month of 90 minutes each, with recorded audio or live on Tuesdays from 7pm to 8.30pm.
The cost of participation is 195 euros for each quarter (three series of three sessions each) or 75 euros for a series of three sessions. Reductions are possible for those with limited financial resources, by making a specific request to the institute. For information info@institutum.org
The course is structured flexibly and adapted to different types of needs, allowing participation in the short, medium or long term, online live or by listening to the recorded version, in person, in a group or individually. The space is also open to share or ask questions in the appropriate forum or via email to Franco, as well as for in-depth information through consultations (click here), seminars (click here) and structured training work (click here). The course is open only to members of the cultural association Institutum Provisorium. Those who are not registered can do so by filling out the appropriate form (https://institutum.org/modulo-associa...). For more information please contact info@institutum.org

Astroshamanic Healing & Soul Retrieval, 6-7 July 2024, Arcidosso GR (Italy)
Astroshamanic Healing & Soul Retrieval, 6-7 July 2024, Arcidosso GR (Italy), with Franco Santoro
The shamanic practice of soul retrieval is based on the awareness that the most painful problems in life are due to the loss of parts of our being, distributed in parallel worlds, which it is necessary to identify and recover, restoring them in the integrity of the person and of its environment. In astroshamanism the 12 zodiac archetypes represent the complete set of states of consciousness of the soul. The astrological chart is used experientially as a map to identify the lost parts, understand their healing dynamics, incorporate them and fully integrate them into our lives. Soul retrieval involves first recognizing the missing parts and the reason for the original separation, followed by their search, recovery and restoration.
During this workshop we explore the following:
a) how to identify the different parts of your being, the parallel worlds, the energies that operate inside and outside of you
b) how to open yourself to the mystery of higher and multidimensional realities, receiving direct teachings from these spaces, in order to apply them in ordinary life.
c) how to discover and develop your healing abilities, learning to share them with others to promote healing and well-being in your life and environment.
d) how to allow every aspect of your nature, including the darkest and most embarrassing ones, to be accepted and transformed into powerful fertilizer aimed at fertilizing your gifts and promoting healing in your life and that of others.
The event takes place at B&B Harem, Località Casa di Zampero 1, Arcidosso (GR) For information click here or write to info@institutum.org

Your Multidimensional Life Purpose, 22-23 June 2024, Narni (Narnia), Italy
Astroshamanic Workshop with Franco Santoro, 22-23 June 2024, Narni (Narnia) TR Italy
Discovering who you really are is the absolute priority in life, on which every choice depends, everything you do, your destiny and that of others.
This workshop focuses on finding and exploring your original life purpose through the use of simple shamanic and consciousness-expanding practices. Participants are experientially introduced to astroshamanism and its pragmatic references in the physical, personal and collective environment. We will employ a circular space intended to represent each aspect of your visible and invisible existence in association with every aspect of life, on which to rest, move, dance and express the most significant sides of your being.
The event is aimed at defining and deepening the relationship with your spirit guide, intent, individual talents and methods of liberation from blocks and grievances. The workshop includes the teaching and practice of simple techniques, which participants can later apply independently, both individually and in relationships with others. During the workshop basic references on experiential astrology will be provided to encourage an intuitive understanding of one’s inner world.
The seminar takes place on the days when the Summer Solstice coincides with the Full Moon, in the ancient Umbrian village of Narni.
The seminar begins at 10.30am on Saturday, June 22nd and ends around 6pm on Sunday, June 23rd 2024. For those interested in learning more about the work, Franco can stay for one or two additional days. We invite you to book well in advance and to give final confirmation within 15 days of the start of the event.
For information and reservations: info@institutum.org
According to many traditions, the summer solstice is the threshold through which the soul enters the world of matter, a crucial moment to stop and ask ourselves what the meaning of one’s life is. Summer is the triumph of the Sun, which encourages us to show our true light and what is most authentic within us. Rather than behaving according to social conformism and hypocrisy, we can recognize the warmth of our feelings, accepting them fully. The radiant presence of the Sun encourages you to be more frank and transparent. If we accept this invitation, extraordinary and brightly unexpected things can happen. I trust this seminar can serve this purpose.
The Umbrian village of Narni is an unspeakably ancient place, whose original toponym, Narnia, gave its name to the fantastic world of The Chronicles of Narnia by C.E. Lewis. The English author, a profound connoisseur of Latin culture, was struck by the sound of the term “Narnia” which he found for the first time in a map of ancient Italy. In his writings the World of Narnia is a parallel, mystical and multidimensional reality, existing outside the ordinary earth and other dimensions, but nevertheless accessible everywhere at some unexpected times, as well as from particular entry points.
The term multidimensional, often used in astroshamanism, describes the presence of different dimensions, aspects of reality or states of consciousness. According to astroshamanism, all aspects of existence are intimately connected and parts of the same Whole. Within this Whole there are different frequencies of vibration and levels of consciousness, which are the various dimensions. To relate to your authentic self, your spirit guide and the multidimensional and spiritual realities that reside beyond separate human perception, you must first escape the narrow confines of ordinary communication, the barbed wire of single thought, as well as autism of a single language and culture. In this seminar we examine the sphere of ordinary and non-ordinary communications, our intimate multidimensional nature to promote liberation and spiritual healing within and without us.

The “Timetravel” Window at Cluny Hill
There are certain stories about Findhorn Foundation Cluny Hill (the main campus of the Findhorn Foundation, where I lived and worked for 15 years), which I don’t think I will ever share, as they are so inexplicable and controversial. After all, Cluny Hill, is also a mystery school, founded in the sign of Scorpio, and it knows how to keep secrets. What follows is a story, about the veracity of which some readers may have strong reservations. This is legitimate since I also tend to question it when my ordinary self prevails, even though I was the direct protagonist.
The episode in question happened in the year 2000, shortly after the start of the first spring of the new millennium, at the beginning of April, around the New Moon in Aries. It had been just over a year since I first arrived in Cluny Hill in 1999, so after living there for an entire calendar year, I felt quite settled and integrated into the community. As I was walking along one of the long corridors of the building, reaching its eastern end, I felt drawn by a window. I had passed that window several times, without however experiencing any attraction. On that occasion, however, for the first time, I stopped and looked out, being very surprised by the view and the unusual perspective that could be enjoyed from that point. Cluny Hill is located on the slopes of the south-eastern area of the hill of the same name, a spectacular forest set on the extreme outskirts of Forres. That window, on the ground floor between room number 21 and the access door to the basement staircase, overlooks one of the most sloping points of the building. At first glance I was struck by the fact that, although I was on the ground floor, I was so high up compared to the territory that unfolded before my eyes. However, there was one detail that made the view from the window amazing beyond all limits. The most surprising feature of that extraordinary detail, when I noticed it, was my reaction, not at all surprised. On the one hand I realized that I was observing something truly paranormal, on the other hand this appeared to me as something very normal, commonplace. So, what did I see? From that window, for a couple of minutes, down there, on the road that runs along the edge of Cluny Hill Gardens, fittingly called Edgehill Road, I saw myself one year before, on my first arrival in the area, walking along the edges of the building’s territory.
It was then a Friday, the eve of the spring equinox, shortly after the New Moon in Aries, the day before the start of the Experience Week, the introductory program of the Findhorn Foundation. According to the instructions received in the letter confirming my stay from the foundation’s administration, I could only go to Cluny the next morning, on Saturday, the day the week began, and not before. I had then booked a room in a nearby B&B to spend Friday night. Rather excited and agitated by the unknown of what would happen the next day, I decided to set off in the direction of Cluny Hill to have a first remote contact with the environment. I intended to walk around the property, without crossing its border in any way.
I started my “boundary walk” from the northern side. As a matter of fact, you couldn’t see anything of the building from that side, because of the woods. However, the environment was enchanting, with enormous trees from which squirrels jumped from time to time, an air with a most adorable scent and a peace that pervaded everything in me. I couldn’t see the building, but I knew that it was a little further ahead and that at a certain point it would appear to me. While waiting for that moment, I felt a growing sense of amazement and sacredness. As the trail reached its eastern end it intersected a small carriage road, Edgehill Road, which descended to the south. After a while the building began to reveal itself.
As I walked, I mulled over what had brought me to that place. The decision to visit the Findhorn Foundation Community was in full harmony with a clear calling of my soul to which I had decided to surrender unconditionally. At the same time, strong feelings of embarrassment, shame and fear coexisted, which instigated me to backtrack and walk away. I progressed through alternating moments of serenity, wonder and light, followed by sharp resistances and fears, successively followed by waves of courage, and resolve that required me to remain at all costs faithful to my calling.
How heavy was my baggage of conflicts then! As I made my way along Edgehill Road I was walking right on the razor’s edge, at any moment I could flee forever or stay. Contemplating the grandeur of the building’s facades and its numerous windows, I wondered what kind of people lived in Cluny Hill, who the community members were. Fantasizing about what would happen the next day, on the one hand, I projected scenes of loving and joyful welcome, seasoned with hugs and exquisite words, on the other I feared that some community members, perhaps after a few hours or days, might glimpse nefarious truths about me of which I was unaware, retreating at my sight as if I were a poisonous snake and then asking me to leave. I looked carefully at every window to see someone. At the same time, I felt uneasy about the possibility of meeting someone’s gaze in the absurd fear that even looking around before the start of the week, even if staying on the edge of the property line, would be against community etiquette. At a certain point, near one of the windows I saw the silhouette of someone, of whom I could see very little both due to the distance and my reticence to linger too long with my gaze. Nonetheless, an unstoppable magnetism gently invited me to linger on that window. Although I still couldn’t see the details of that person, what I perceived with utmost clarity was a profound sense of reassurance, acceptance and unconditional love that poured onto me from this mysterious character, so much so that it swept away every fear.
My innocence, my authentic light was guaranteed by that presence up there and only required my acceptance, which I gave in that moment with renewed trust. After a year, looking out the window and seeing myself, I understood that that person I had seen in the window was me, so I was seeing myself again, with the full awareness of how my life had changed in an unpredictably luminous way and in so little time. There I was walking on Edgehill Road, on the edge of Cluny Hill, while now I was inside Cluny Hill, on the ground floor, near the access to the basement and the lower areas of the building, therefore very rooted.
I made the decision to go to Findhorn with great courage and confidence, while a huge storm was raging inside and outside of me. From that window, reviewing the recent past, I understood how fragile the thread that led me to this place was. Yet, despite the initial difficulties, I finally managed to get there. What an accomplishment! That day, looking down from the window, I acknowledged this great achievement and how crucial my choice was. I felt an enormous sense of gratitude for my identity at the time. For a few minutes I passed beyond the temporal sphere, allowing myself to look at myself in the past.
What a mystery this sense of self! Sometimes confused, lost in its countless multidimensional variations, in other circumstances, clear, luminous, in its original version, the only truly authentic one!
I feel profound gratitude for all the gifts I have received since I entered this mystery school, which for me is Cluny Hill. As I let my fingers slide across the computer keyboard, writing this article on the eve of another New Moon in Aries, I can feel the presence of another me somewhere, watching beyond time with tender compassion and indomitable support. I greet him and rejoice in anticipation of the next meeting.
Another similar experience happened to me many years before when I worked as night manager in a large hotel. Passing in front of a mirror I saw an unusual figure reflected, full of beauty and radiant power. It looked like my physical body, though he moved and looked at me differently. He showed a jubilant and proud smile that just didn’t exist in my facial features at the time. I could define it as my true self, but without personal pronouns, so much so that it was not only mine, but everything and everyone’s, capable of taking on any shape to make itself visible from its actual dwelling beyond the world of forms. This real and supreme Self, definable even with that Name that I prefer to avoid naming in vain, as well as with the absence of any name, has always been faithful to me. I don’t have to do anything to deserve His love. There is no price to pay, nor a particular condition or performance to satisfy. It is enough just to remember and remember. Simply remember that it always has been and always will be. The only function worth exercising in this world, as I see it, is to maintain the connection with this Self. I write this, shaking off all pedantry, as I realize that my daily activities are a continuous alternation of myriads of deceptive situations intended to distract me from this choice. It follows that at the end of a day, when I recognize that I have managed to maintain a minimum connection, I let out a deep sigh of relief, saying: “I succeeded today too!”
And when I can’t?
Well, this is the crucial part. When I forget and let myself be confused by fear, then I can revive the memory at the last minute and forgive myself for not having succeeded. And then a choir of sublime voices sings in unison:
“Once again you have succeeded!”
P.S. At the beginning of 2024 the Findhorn Foundation declared its intention to put the Findhorn Foundation Cluny Hill up for sale, due to the financial crisis of the organization in recent years. Whatever happens, I believe that Cluny Hill is a place of multidimensional healing that, in its actual and original version, dwells beyond time and space. This means that its authentic location lies in the eternal and invisible reality. But not only. Cluny Hill, as a place of Light, Joy and Peace, can pragmatically take shape in any earthly time and space, including behind, in front of or inside your home, and perhaps even now, if you want it.
