Amit Sharma was born in July 1990 in the city of Uttar Pradesh, Varanasi famously known as the 'city of God' in India. Initial years were spent in Chandigarh where his father was working. It was in the year 1994, when he was four years old, his family shifted to Gurgaon, Haryana and ever since he has been living there with his family. He finished his school life in 2008 and in 2012, he graduated as an engineer. Writing happened to him all of a sudden in 2009 in his college days. It was an impulsive decision as he himself says, and it was while reading a fiction that he decided he will write a book. And don't be afraid of going slow. Don't expect your work to be a bestseller, specially if it's the first one. It takes years to reach there. You invest a lot of time in finishing off one work and that's only half of what you do. The rest depends on how it goes from there. And it's a solitary journey... you just need to hold on.(less)
