Well, two bits of good news today - one, I got invited to be on the panel at the Emerging Writers Festival in Melbourne; and two, ABC TV invited me to go on their Talking Heads program! I felt ten feet tall!

Sometimes it seems that just when you feel like you have been as down as you can be, life decides to pick you back up again. I am so truly thrilled about both opportunities, and I hope they give Sahara a chance to shine....

I'm so slack - here I am writing a goodreads blog that probably nobody will read, and I haven't updated my own blog since October last year! I guess that is because I have felt so very confused about where I was headed that I chose to write nothing at all....very mature.

But I can feel life starting to flow back, and ideas with it, and today I am looking at different routes along the Camino; and the Appalachian trail. It is time for a new dream, and I hope it takes me to wonderful places. I need to walk again, and I don't care much where too...I just need a new adventure.

Now I am going to go and actually blog on my real blog. Get rid of one lot of guilt...
