Salish Sea Love Letter (and a Call to Action)

A new article in Indian Country today brings a Native American perspective to our book, WE ARE PUGET SOUND. We Are Puget Sound by David L. Workman
Under the title "Salish Sea Love Letter (and a Call to Action," journalist Richard Walker writes:
"A new book, We Are Puget Sound | Discovering & Recovering the Salish Sea, provides a roadmap to recovering the health of these waters off the coast of inland Washington state and British Columbia, with inspirational stories of what individuals are doing - and essays and photographs that remind the reader of what's at stake."

"Wonderful job...realistic sense of place"

Our book, WE ARE PUGET SOUND, received a review from one of the region's most recognized environmental writers.
Excerpt from Christopher Dunagan, Kitsap (WA) Sun, Oct. 30, 2019:
"Lead author David Workman does a wonderful job pulling together facts from the far-flung corners of Puget Sound, providing a realistic sense of the place where we live. But I was most captivated by the stories of the local people who have made a difference in protecting, restoring or otherwise improving our region."
