God's Help with the Hold-ups. Jan. 30, 2018

So I'm writing my 5th book now and it's incredibly challenging! I had to get up out of my chair multiple times because I didn't know know where the story was going to go. Further, the location is not located on Earth so the descriptions of the scenery and the small details were holding me up as I desperately yanked the unwilling descriptions out of my imagination. Though I pray to God each time before I sit down to type to help me, there was still this unexplained hinderance in this new work. And I was turned off by the story, nearly threatening to put the whole thing in the trash.

Then one day, I was out running around my neighborhood when instantly I saw it! I saw this incredible world I was trying to create! I saw the characters around me. I saw the action taking place in front of me. I saw the goodness of God I was trying to depict, his conversations with angels, the interactions I wanted to describe. I saw the artistry, the perfection, the colossal magnetism of Heaven. And I saw the story take place in front of me, this beautiful story I was trying to type but couldn't. Not without God's help. Not without *this* being revealed in front of me! This story had to continue and this book had to be created.

I would encourage you today. If there is a stumbling block in your way and you can't seem to move forward no matter what you do and you also feel like giving up, I just wanted to remind you to pray about it, release it to God and let him take your nothing and create something amazing from it. I suggest just letting it go and walking away from it, surrendering what you want to God and letting Him come through for you in a way that you wouldn't expect. I do pray your passion will come back and what you consider lifeless will resurrect from God's love! Let God give you what you want - what you you desperately want - but can't seem to get on your own. Just trust Him.

If you have any prayer requests, let me know. I would love to pray for you!

Keep your cards close to your chest. April 17, 2018

Someone can play the hand life has dealt you and win with it.

So you have a few low cards, a few low points in your life, a few 2s, 3s, and 4 cards. So you don't have enough highlighted golden cards like you feel others have, envious that maybe that person across from you who is smiling has your much-needed Queen or Joker and you are stuck with cards that you know won't compete.

You might as well fold. You're never going to win with that hand.

But just wait. You don't know what the other person has. You only know what you have. Choose your cards carefully. Your low cards - those low points in your life - can be an essential and astronomical asset to your win.

Those highlighted points in your life - the Jokers and Kings - are great but use them sparingly. You don't want the other person to know what you have. It's all about timing. It's all about strategy. It's all about tactic.

In the card game of life, the time to lay down your low-point cards is when you need to. In a life example, no one needs to know my childhood, my years of struggle, the bondage I faced for years, the loneliness and abandonment issues I've dealt with…unless of course someone else is going through the same struggle…BAM…I lay down my card - - let's talk about it together and get through it together. My low-point card helps. It's an asset, never a liability.

And those high-point cards - those moments where you are feeling high and mighty - - watch those cards. Only reveal what you want others to know. You don't know what other people have, but you do know what you have. Play the game. My life example: You don't know anything about the next project I am working on. You have no idea the future schedule I have planned or who I'm speaking with currently to implement new launches. I lay down those cards sparingly and on purpose.

You can win in the game of life. Every card is significant - every moment in your life is significant. Don't show all your cards. Keep them close to your chest. Lay down the cards needed for the time and for the moment and know how to play the game. And when you feel like giving up, remember….

Someone can play the hand you've been dealt and win with it. And you can too!
