I'm making apple empanadas and working on the second book in 'The Chronicles of Sir John the Worm' toady. I like to cook and write at the same time. Cooking allows me to take a break from writing, recharge my batteries, and stay in creative mode. Sitting on the toilet is another favorite past time when I'm writing. The solitude of the privy is uniquely condusive to imaginative thinking.

I'm delighted by the response to 'The Dragon and the Apprentice.' I believe this is precisely the sort of book that will grow in popularity as time goes by. We're off to a terrific start thanks to everyone here at Goodreads.

I wanted to let all of you know the second book in The Chronicles of Sir John the Worm is almost finished. Look for it sometime in 2018.
