Sleep, Mary, sleep alongside our dear Lord
A holy picture for all men to see
That King of glory and incarnate Word
Now cradled infant mortal child He be;
When all at once some village shepherds keep
Watching their sheep—abundant angels sing—
Told where to find this Saviour fast asleep,
And with great haste sought Yeshua the King.
Still coming forth from distant lands, wise men,
Approaching later on—Epiphany—
Bring finest gifts into their humble den
And bow in worship, rev'rence, on their knee.
     But wise men seek our Lord within these days,
     And keep Him in their hearts, and give Him praise.

O, Jesus, thank Thee for this day! 
My mind was cast upon the tree

The truth the Light that shines on men 
And breathes new life in us again.
Thy healing balm send fresh today, 
Be poured on us, heal us within, 
Release us from the pow’r of sin.

Until Thy Kingdom I shall see.

And quench our thirst as gentle rain,

Sonnet Tribute Sundry Mary Kate

When April leaves to earth do fall again
As Autumn Season shorter grows each day,
The first frost claspeth ev'ry bone in pain
And soon the blizzard snows shall wrap our play.
That August day our paths on Goodreads cross'd
The last of Summer birds and flowers seen;
Along the group Real Christian scripture toss'd
And now chill Winter makes air sharp and keen.
But though the Seasons change and snow doth fall,
The Lord is working through thee on Goodreads;
Real Christian blooms, it helpeth us stand tall
And live our life for God through prayerful deeds.
     Accept this humble gift from me to thee,
     Live life for God, whom one day we shall see.

Sweet springtime zephyrs blow across the lawn,
And swaying grass and meadow flowers bloom;
Spring brings to life the earth as fresh as dawn,
And winter’s chill is gone as its cold gloom.
The garden comes to life and flowers wake,
And soon the Lilac blooms shall fill the air;
The roses too, their scented buds breath take,
And linger on the garden breeze so fair.
O let this springtime weave its spell on me,
As God’s creation, His own craftsmanship;
Let mine eyes, Lord, imbibe, this beauty see,
And fill my heart with love for draftsmanship.
      To paint the seasons as they come and part,
      Their beauty remains ingrained on my heart.

This is the second and third time I have publish'd. I am very grateful to God. Every talent should be used to His glory. I hope and pray my words do just that!

The Sonnets, numbers I—LXXX ( 1—80 ) alongside other miscellaneous Sonnets, shall appear in Paperback and Hardcover editions. I am trying my best to understand Lulu dot com formatting for eBook, which I still have not been successful at. I may try Kindle Direct Publishing for those, if I can figure out the formatting of my Word 2013 document.

A lot of editing was call'd for to achieve greater flow of metre and better keeping with the unstress'd and stress'd wording. Still, after about a month and a half, The Sonnets are completed! I am very delighted and happy about this, as I hope these words I have penn'd, will touch hearts and minds for the honour and glory of God. Soli Deo Gloria!
