We all have a personal “invisible fence” that feels safe—but usually keeps us smaller than we want.
Try this quick audit right now:
1️⃣ Grab a sticky note and finish this sentence: “I’d finally ___ if I wasn’t worried about ___.” Write the first thing that comes to mind.
2️⃣ Circle the second blank. That’s your primary fear trigger this week—failure, rejection, or maybe the unknown.
3️⃣ Rewrite the sentence with a twist: “I’ll take one 10-minute step toward ___ even though ___ feels risky.”
4️⃣ Set a 10-minute timer and move. Email one prospect, draft the opening paragraph, watch the tutorial—any small action counts.
Momentum shrinks fear faster than pep talks. If you want the full three-step method (Face → Flip → Forge Ahead) plus printable worksheets, you’ll find it in Breaking the Fear and Comfort Zone (Kindle & paperback).
What did your sticky note reveal? Share below so we can cheer each other on!
