Help Needed!

Apparently, I haz the dumb where creating e-newsletters are concerned, so I’m waving the white flag, and gonna hire someone to do it for me.

Any recommendations? Yes, I have a budget.

Beta Readers Needed!

I’m at a point with both THE LAST KEEPER (Celestial Keys book 2) and GENESIS 2.0 (Monster Apocalypse) that I find myself in need of BETA READERS!

Most of my volunteers have asked for me to reciprocate Beta for them, sadly I don’t have the time. So, if you have plenty of time to read, want to read some rough work, and boss me around, give me a shout.

Thank you!

Find me here. Or there. Or there…

Long Time, No Write

So, it’s been a little while since I’ve written anything. I’ve been editing a current work-in-progress, and chasing two little boys (ages 5 and 3). Managing a writing career and family is something I haven’t quite mastered. I’ve managed to read some wonderful books by D. H. Nevins, her Wormwood series is absolutely awesome! I actually reached out to Ms. Nevins, and turns out, she’s a super-cool lady! As an Indie Author herself, she’s been a fountain of knowledge (and inspiration!) and I can’t thank her enough!

It’s amazing to make friends through words and technology. My squad lives all over the world, and I adore each and every one of them.

On the writing front, I’m hoping to have GENESIS 2.0 ready for launch on February 14, 2020! See the cover (created by CJ Douglass)…

Isn’t it a beaut? I adore it, this little gem of a story has been a year-long project, and as of this past weekend, I found my editor. She’s going to be great. I began posting this story on Wattpad as I wrote it, but it’s evolved into a world of its own. So, I’ll continue to post the rough draft on the site, but I’m going for traditional publishing with this one. It’s my first YA book, and I think there’s so much potential here.

So, SENTINEL: DEMON ASSASSIN (Celestial Keys, Book 1) has been a learning experience for me, and I hope to have gained enough knowledge to successfully push GENESIS 2.0, and THE LAST KEEPER (Celestial Keys, Book 2).

Indie Author April

Greetings and salutations!

April is the month we celebrate those writers brave enough to strike out on their own. They don’t need the big publishers, they don’t need anything from anybody! They’ll publish their own work!

This isn’t exactly true. While going the Indie route, a writer does keep control of his/her book, earn more royalties, and it is empowering.

But, this journey is a long and arduous one. I speak from experience. So, this month, let’s celebrate the Independent author, buy and read an Indie book. (You may be surprised.)

AND…

LEAVE A REVIEW! This is the best thing you can do to help us. It doesn’t take long, it doesn’t cost anything, and you can literally just say that you liked the book. That’s it!

Happy reading!

A Little Sunday Self-Promo

Hi!

Yes, you!

The one reading this!

I’m so happy to see you. Well, not see you see you, cause that would mean I’m stalking you. Which I’m not…where was I?

Oh yea.

It’s been a while since I posted, so here’s a lovely little reminder that my current novel, SENTINEL: DEMON ASSASSIN is available for purchase (this link is to Amazon), you can click HERE to find it elsewhere: Kobo, B&N, Apple, Google Books, etc.

I’ve had some wonderful reviews popping up, so please, if you read it, consider leaving a few words to let others know what you thought. Really, any few sentences is awesome! I posted the blurb at the very bottom. Yes, I’m proud of my reviews, I want you to read each one!

Wattpad Update

A little over a year ago, I joined this little site called Wattpad.

I’m thrilled to say that it turned out to be a wonderful writer’s community. Yes, there are some assholes (as with any place) but the decent, friendly folks far outweigh the bad.

I have a few projects going there, my most recent is VOICES: A psychological thriller novella, a story that follows a young lady, exiled to an asylum for the rest of her life…or until her demons literally free her.

I took it down a few months ago because I didnt have much time to work on it, however, someone wonderful has expressed interest in reading the FULL story, so – kick ass into gear and finish it!

I’ll be reposting the previous chapters weekly, and the first draft after that. I need feedback!

Any and all feedback is much appreciated!

Share with someone who may enjoy it.

Writer Self – Review

Today I came across an interesting tweet. Basically, the message was, “What was your impression of your book ending?” And it suggested using only a GIF.

And another tweet asked what would I do of my MC showed up at my front door…

I said that I’d hide…the bitch is scary!

Now, forcing me to react to my own ending was a brilliant idea.

My response surprised me.

“Cry havoc! And let slip the dogs of war!”

I was jazzed, revved, adreneline-filled.

Try looking at your story from a reader’s POV. Is it the reaction the writer in you wanted?

Adjust accordingly.

ARCs!

I have ARCs of Sentinel : Demon Assassin available! The catch? No, I don’t want your first-born (I have my own, thanks), im looking for a few sentences to include in the final copy.

What kind of sentences? Why, you (the reader’s) thoughts!

Interested? Keep reading!

When December 21, 2012 came and went without the cataclysmic event the Mayans predicted, the world laughed it off as yet another “Doomsday Conspiracy” falling flat.

What we didn’t know was that the ancient philosophers and seers were right – just ten years premature.

Luna Ashwind owes her life to the underground band of demon assassins who took her in when they discovered her unconscious and on the brink of death.

After four years of strict training, she’s ready to take her place among their ranks. But when her virgin mission goes horribly wrong, she learns that there’s more to her past than empty memories.

Her existence may mean the annihilation of mankind.

Still interested?
