I have suffered six miscarriages and often felt alone during my times of grief. For a long time I searched book stores and libraries for books on this topic. I never found what I was looking for, which was advice. That is why I wrote Miscarriage Mom and added that missing piece, advice! How do you deal with those unexpected reactions/comments from others? How to honor your child whom nobody ever got to meet? Are my feelings normal? All these questions are answered in my new book.(less)

Being an author has given me the opportunity to speak for so many women suffering alone, feeling misunderstood. When writing Miscarriage Mom I didn't hold back. I wrote about the 'unspoken realities' that surround miscarriage. The feelings of anger and jealously. Hating every pregnant woman I came across. It may sound harsh but when I opened up to other women who too had miscarried I found it was more common than harsh. So I put it out there. Knowing others were feeling what I felt was important. If I can help 1 other woman cope with her loss then it was worth writing!(less)
