Help me Write! 🌻
Today's letter is a short one, but very important.
I am working on a scene for Revealed Hope that is emotional and raw. The goal is to take Maddie and the reader to the Cross.
Have you ever found yourself in a high-stress situation where every weakness is laid bare? Maddie finds herself once again facing Fear, her old nemesis, and this time she has no one to turn to and nowhere to look but up.
How do you think she should respond? Remember, this is a weak moment for her that will lead her to the Cro...

The Gift of Discipleship 🌻
Do you know Jesus? In your walk with Him, what drew you near to HIm? How did others point you to Him?
These were questions I asked myself when I began writing the Revealed Book Series™. I've shared my WHY for Revealed. Today, I would like to share my WHAT.
I remember a Sunday eons ago when my Pastor shared the story of his relationship with his mentor. I was in a season where I had so many questions, yet no one I felt comfortable asking. I would pray, of course, and God was/is always kind to lead ...

To Go Between 🌻
Today's letter is a favorite of mine. I have to admit, I've been sitting on this for a while. If you missed the last two weeks, you can catch Taking Territory for the Lord and Standing in the Gap in the links shared, and get a glimpse into my heart for intercession.
Today, I am sharing an excerpt from Revealed Courage.
I do feel it necessary to provide a content warning. The details surrounding a foaling are included in the excerpt. If you're squeamish, I won't be sad if you have to bow out. If yo...

Standing in the Gap 🌻
Well, we can officially say it, we are two weeks away from the first Georgia Football Game. GO DAWGS! 🐾🐾🐾
I'll admit it, I love Georgia. I cannot recall a year when I wasn't excited to watch them come on the field.
The 2017 season was a particularly joyous one as we watched a new up-and-coming player, Jake Fromm, step in as the starting quarterback when Jacob Eason was injured. Georgia went on to win three consecutive SEC Championship game appearances.
When Jacob was injured, Jake stood in the gap....

Taking Territory for the Lord 🌻
What a beautiful day in the ATL! After a weekend of monsoon, we are enjoying cool mornings and low eighties in the afternoon.
It's a good day for a walk.
On my socials this week, I shared an excerpt from Revealed Courage. Maddie and her friends created a safety plan that involved taking territory for the Lord. With all they had endured, this was a moment of surrender as they chose to trust the Lord with their future, rather than worry about it.
The idea for taking territory for the Lord came from a...

Happy August! 🌻
Happy first day of August!
Can you believe Fall is almost here?
I love Fall! Georgia Football, Hoodies, Hot mochas with whipped cream on top. Friday night lights with my man. Oh, and did I mention Georgia Football? (I'll bet you couldn't guess that I'm a Georgia fan.) 🐾🐾🐾
As we close the chapter of summer, I wanted to take a moment to look back. Reflecting on this amazing season, we launched Revealed Courage, opened our Living Revealed online store, released a pocket prayer journal, and introduced ...

Walking into Battle 🌻
If God called you to join Him in battle, would you go?
This question was whispered in my heart on Wednesday during the early morning hours as I transitioned out of REM sleep.
If I'm honest, it caught me off guard. As I began to navigate the day, I rolled the question over in my mind and wondered if this was a conviction..
I wasn't offended, mind you, but I know that the Lord's thoughts are not my thoughts, so if the Lord was asking me this question, I had to wonder if He knew something I didn't kno...

Revealed Hope for the Generations 🌻
Today, I am doing something very special, but first, a story.
Shortly after we decided to join our local church, God woke my husband in the middle of the night and called him into student ministry. "I don't know where this will lead," he told me as I fought the urge to yawn. "I might have to quit my job."
The next morning, as I sat with the Lord, I bawled. You see, I had been praying for my husband to turn to the Lord. As He often does, our God answered my prayer with abundantly more than I could ...

When There are No Words 🌻
Friend, how's your heart? No, really, how are you doing? If I'm honest, I don't have many words this week. All I know to do is to sit in the Presence of my Abba and share His Word with you.
Presence is a theme in the Bible. When speaking through His prophet Isaiah, God shared an encouraging word for His people in chapter forty-one, "Fear not, for I am with you." Nine chapters later, Isaiah reveals: "The Sovereign Lord has given me a well-instructed tongue, to know the word that sustains the weary...

A Guiding Light 🌻
Today is an important day in the nation where I live.
Two hundred and forty-nine years ago, the United States was declared to be an independent nation.
A hundred and sixty-nine years before this historic moment, a covenant was made with God in Virginia Beach, Virginia by members of an expedition led by Pastor Robert Hunt.
Here is the prayer as documented by 1607covenant.com.
"We do hereby dedicate this Land, and ourselves, to reach the People within these shores with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and ...
My Week in Writing
I love to take long walks through t Hi! I'm Eve, an author and encourager who loves words and The Word. I am a daughter of the King who believes in God's great Love and His desire to draw us near Him.
I love to take long walks through the garden of God's creation with the Master Gardener and find the little blessings He leaves for us. It is my prayer that you will, too.
My favorite things are playing board games with the Fam, singing sweet tunes of inspiration, writing, and helping others find freedom in Christ as they realize He loves them. My passion includes helping the next generation find Jesus as we encourage them that they were made for such a time as this. May we all bloom where we are planted!
