Two new portraits in my portfolio for 2017! First up is a digital portrait of pioneering Stonewall gay and trans rights activist Marsha P. I’ll be appearing at the Oregon Historical Society on Thursday, Dec. 1st for a panel discussion! The panel is being held in conjunction with OHS’s amazing exhibit on comics in Oregon. (My Eisner-nominated short comicOutfoxedis part of the exhibit.) Recent personal art from my drawing board. I’m currently working on three separate publishing projects as well as client work, so squeezing in a few minutesto draw for myself has become both more difficultandmore important!

2016 won’t be a big touring year for me, as I’ll be spending most of itwith my nose to the grindstone – that is, the drafting table – working hard on my forthcoming middle grade graphic novel,Queen of the Sea.But you can still catch me in person at a few select events!
