‘The Return of the Whalefleet’ cover reveal and Kickstarter announcement!

I’m thrilled to reveal the cover to the up-and-coming second Darkstar novel. The Return of the Whalefleet will be released later in 2021, and will be a cornerstone of a special Kickstarter campaign to publish the Darkstar novels as hardback editions – the Kickstarter will go live later this month. I’ve been blessed with Jenny Zemanek’s design work on all of my covers, but Whalefleet’s is my favourite so far – she perfectly captured the otherworldliness of the Darkstar Dimension.

Here is the c...

‘City of Swords’ arrives on audiobook!

Today is the day… the Yarnsworld audiobook collection is complete!

Don’t draw your blade in the City of Swords, unless you’re willing to kill…or ready to die.

Prepare to discover a world of masked swordfighters, where not every story about your heroes can be believed…

I’m also thrilled that this audiobook comes with a bonus recording of one of my favourite Yarnsworld stories – the novella ‘And They Were Never Heard From Again’.

The Yarnsworld and Darkstar novels go ‘wide’, and celebrate with a sale!

Since they were first released, my ebooks have only been available on Amazon stores… until now! In part thanks to the success of this year’s Kickstarter campaign, all of my ebooks (except for the newly released ‘Taniwha Girl’) are now available on multiple ebook platforms, including Apple Books, Google Play, Kobo and Barnes & Noble. (‘Taniwha Girl’ will join the rest of the Yarnsworld novels on these stores early in 2021).

If you are interested in grabbing any of my books from these platforms...

The Crescent Atoll

This is the map of the Crescent Atoll, funded earlier this year by 226 amazing people on Kickstarter, and hand-drawn by cartographer Mikael Asikainen.

It is included in the newest Yarnsworld novel, ‘To Dream and Die as a Taniwha Girl’, which was made available on Amazon and Kindle Unlimited last week. (The novel will be removed from Kindle Unlimited in 90 days, when it will be available on all other ebook platforms).

Mikael sells prints of the map here: https://www.inprnt.com/…/the-cresce...

To Dream and Die as a Taniwha Girl releases 18th November!

The fifth Yarnsworld novel, To Dream and Die as a Taniwha Girl, will be released in a few weeks, on 18th November!

As you may very well know, the novel first came to life on Kickstarter, where campaign backers funded the first ever hand-drawn map of the Crescent Atoll, and I’m delighted to say that map will be included in the wide release as well, and we’ll be doing a public reveal of it soon.

There’s another important announcement – ‘Taniwha Girl’ will be debuting on Amazon stores, an...

To Dream and Die as a Taniwha Girl campaign ends – almost 500% funded

A final word about this, but this time to say ‘thank you’:

At midnight last night (UK time) my Kickstarter campaign finished. It was almost 500% funded.

That is (does quick maths on fingers) a bajillion more funded than I had expected or even dared to hope for.

Not only is To Dream and Die as a Taniwha Girl going to get a ridiculously gorgeous map (I’ve seen sketches – gorgeousness is happening), but the above-and-beyond level of support means a whole lot more for the future of the Yarnsworld a...
