Ivy Granger is back!
I have a book out today! I'm also flying home from Dragon Con, so apologies in advance if there's a delay in my responses. Please know that I am reading and enjoying your messages. Blood Rite Release Day Grab a copy of BLOOD RITE and celebrate my 20th book release and the return of Ivy Granger!
Blood Rite (Ivy Granger Psychic Detective #6) by E.J. StevensIvy Granger takes on a simple grave robbing case, but in Harborsmouth nothing is ever simple when dealing with the dead.
Grave robbing is Harborsmouth’s second best-kept secret. The first is the existence of supernatural creatures that live alongside the city’s humans. In fact, the dirtiest little secret of all might be the truth behind most of those empty graves.
Most supernaturals eke out a pretty mundane existence. Nobody wants a return to the Burning Times. Well, nobody sane.
The creature that was stealing the more odoriferous of Harborsmouth’s citizens from their graves had to be crazy. Sir Gaius, ruler of the local vamps, owned the harvesting rights to every corpse buried within the city limits. No one touched the vampire master of the city’s property without permission and lived to scream about it—until now.
Enter an award-winning urban fantasy world where monsters roam the streets and things aren't always what they seem. Demons, zombies, vampires, and necromancers—Ivy battles the city's deadliest villains while solving its darkest cases. Release Date: September 3, 2019Grab a copy of Blood Rite

New Release: Craven Street
Happy book release day! My creepy Victorian horror, paranormal mystery, gaslamp fantasy series launches today with the series prequel, Craven Street. This is my 19th book release. Check out my Author's Note below for a personal message about this book and series.
Craven Street
Craven Street (Whitechapel Paranormal Society #1) by E.J. Stevens
In this spellbinding novella, E.J. Stevens weaves a tale of murder, necromancy, and demonic possession that brings together characters from her Whitechapel Paranormal Society gaslamp fantasy series and award-winning Ivy Granger Psychic Detective urban fantasy series on the fog-shrouded cobblestones of Craven Street.
Much maligned by their male counterparts within the S.P.R.B., the women of the Whitechapel Paranormal Society are on their own to face a sinister dark mastermind as dismembered bodies are set across London's East End like figures on a game board. Can they predict the killer's next move—a bloody, ritualistic murder that might tip the scales and give demons dominion over all of London—before he strikes again?
Learn more at WhitechapelParanormal.com.

Leaving a review can help the success of this book and this series. Release week sales and reviews also help us begin production early for the audiobook and translations. Thank you!
Author's Note
I grew up loving Sherlock Holmes, but wishing the supernatural elements, such as the hound of the Baskervilles, proved to be truly paranormal. I also wished to see more female and nonbinary characters solving crimes, finding happiness, and saving the world. This is the series I wished for.
Fans of the Ivy Granger series will recognize the demon Forneus. This series crossover gives Ivy Granger fans a glimpse of the devilish demon before his redemption arc and introduces new readers to the Ivy-verse.
But the real stars here are the women of the Whitechapel Paranormal Society and their nonbinary friend and informant. I'm so excited to bring these strong, smart characters into the world. I hope you enjoy Cora, Flan, Lottie, Anna, Edith, and Billie as much as I've enjoyed writing them.
**Please note that Billie is nonbinary. They use they/them pronouns not he/him or she/her.
Happy reading!

Craven Street (Whitechapel Paranormal Society, #1) by E.J. Stevens
In this spellbinding novella, E.J. Stevens weaves a tale of murder, necromancy, and demonic possession that brings together characters from her Whitechapel Paranormal Society Victorian horror series and award-winning Ivy Granger Psychic Detective urban fantasy series on the fog-shrouded cobblestones of 36 Craven Street.
The discovery of bricked up skeletal remains at 36 Craven Street point to something more diabolical than an illegal anatomy school. The tool marks on the bones, arcane sigils of great power, indicate more than mere butchery, more than enlightened experimentation. The signs, omens, and portents support the crown's greatest fears. A great evil is being unleashed upon the gaslit streets of London, a blood-drenched shadow reaching skeletal fingers beyond the slums of Whitechapel.
We must stamp out this demonic plague for the sake of our Queen, our Country, and our immortal souls. - Cora Drummond, Whitechapel Paranormal Society
Collecting human souls is a thankless job, nearly as tedious as acting as solicitor to the fae. But when the demon Forneus enters an opium den searching for men eager to trade their souls for the ill-smelling weed, he stumbles on a plot so devious, so heinous, he's jealous that he hadn't thought of it himself.
There's nothing like a maniacal plot to unleash Hell on earth to break the boredom of immortality. - Forneus, Grand Marquis of Hell
The Ivy Granger Psychic Detective series is an award-winning urban fantasy series known for heart-pounding action, quirky characters, and supernatural horrors. The Whitechapel Paranormal Society series is a Victorian mystery series set in London's East End.
Five seemingly ordinary women with minor psychic gifts and an exceptional ability to solve supernatural crimes, skills honed during their service with the Special Paranormal Research Branch a secret security agency tasked with protecting Queen and country from inhuman forces, must now use their singular expertise to unravel a dreadful string of brutal murders.
Much maligned by their male counterparts within the S.P.R.B., the women of the Whitechapel Paranormal Society are on their own to face a sinister dark mastermind as dismembered bodies are set across London’s East End like figures on a game board.
Can they predict the killer’s next move—a bloody, ritualistic murder that might tip the scales and give demons dominion over all of London—before he strikes again?
Set against the backdrop of pre and post-Ripper Victorian London, Whitechapel Paranormal Society series answers the question of how cases such as the Thames Torso Murders, Craven Street Bones, Tottenham Court Road Mystery, Whitechapel Murders, Goswell Road Mystery, and the Vanishing Girls of West Ham might have been solved if put in the capable hands of a team of female special agents.
