Was it given away as a gift to someone or kept? Would it ever circle back to the owner or begin a life of being passed along through several generations? What stories could it tell of the lives it touched?(less)

“In whatever way you can do so, according to the talents and gifts God has given you, you are to be salt, and light, and whatever part of the Body of Christ you were made to be. You need to tell us what's going on with you so the rest of the Body (of which you are a part) can work together with you.”
Chris Manion, God's Patient Pursuit of My Soul

“In the same way that we love God with the love He's given us, I played music back to the author of music itself.”
Chris Manion, God's Patient Pursuit of My Soul

“To say that God was the highest priority in my life while He got the least amount of my time created a personal integrity problem for me Establishing my early morning half hour of prayer helped me rebalance my time with my highest priorities.”
Chris Manion, God's Patient Pursuit of My Soul

“The only thing that matters is our actions, the intentions of our heart .”
Chris Manion, God's Patient Pursuit of My Soul

“I am sorry I ran from you. I am still running, running from that knowledge, that eye, that love from which there is no refuge. For you meant only love, and love, and I felt only fear, and pain. So once in Israel love came to us incarnate, stood in the doorway between two worlds, and we were all afraid.”
Annie Dillard, Teaching a Stone to Talk: Expeditions and Encounters

“She prunes the idea away like a faded rose blossom, and quickly discards it as if the thorns might puncture her resolve.”
Beth Neff, Getting Somewhere

“It's important in life to conclude things properly. Only then can you let go. Otherwise you are left with words you should have said but never did, and your heart is heavy with remorse.”
Yann Martel, Life of Pi
