Read on my blog how Amazon helps readers and authors. After publishing my book "W to M of Self-Publishing: Why do Indie Authors Fail?", I came to know that most of the indie authors and readers don't know how to get most out of Amazon product page.

New opportunities for authors and readers
Hi guys, Starting from next week we're going to be adding some great new content every day in the Navigating Indieworld Facebook group. We're looking to grow our membership and provide more ways of connecting readers and authors, which will make the takeovers even more successful too!
Each week we want to have a featured author, this will be like a mini takeover where we'll open the page to a single author on Thursdays, we have a template of posts you can follow if you aren't confident on planning a schedule yourself, and if you don't have a Facebook account or don't wish to post using your personal account you can send us your posts and Navigating Indieworld will post them for you.
On Tuesday we will feature a blogger/vlogger in the same way.
Wednesday will be giveaway day, we want something to give away every week as it will be a good incentive to keep readers coming back! This can be anything- ebooks, audiobooks, paperbacks, swag, we're opening this up to bloggers and businesses that want to give book/reading related merchandise away too.
If you want to be featured or do a giveaway you can say so here or get in touch with either me or Erica Graham and we'll schedule you in.
It would be awesome if you could spread the word too! Share the group with friends, get in touch with other authors and any bloggers you know to see if they want to take part. Anything that grows the group! And please get involved, we'll be having different theme days and are planning some events too, The more interaction we get the more likely it will be that new members join and feel comfortable!

How to hit #1 bestseller rank?
Amazon ranks are the indicators of book's visibility and sales. I am not convinced with many authors who claim that if this number (xyz) will be the book rank, that much (number) will be the sales of that book. But, I am sure if your book is on top of Amazon ranks, it will sell more. This is the power of book's visibility. Last month, one of my book hit #1 bestseller rank on Amazon, without paid promotions. I never use paid services. Want to know how??

Why do Indie Authors Fail?
My 16 years old son published his first poetry collection in August 2017. Only 2 copies sold till February 2018. He added me why there was no sales or KENP?
My reply was "because of non-visibility of the book."
My suggestion was to make a list of friends and connections from his social media who can review the book on Amazon and/or GR. Next, to inform them when his book will be available for free download on Amazon. He did the same and the book reached No. 1 in the category on several Amazon platforms. This free KDP brought one unit sales and now he is getting KENP too.
So, you may help each other to increase book's visibility by adding fellow authors books on your GR tbr and vice-versa.
My self-publishing guide "W to M of self-publishing: Why do Indie Authors Fail?" is set to release on 26th May 2018.
